I highly suggest using a full spring setup for the brake pedal, when I first got the pedals, it felt great, i gained time. However, when I switched to springs, I didn’t have to worry about the temperature affecting how much pressure. This allowed me to be far more consistent than the elastomers, and it helped me again, gain time. There are usually some die springs on amazon for
@@r3vlimit3r If you want to have a more progressive feel, you could do like 1 25mm od w/ 15mm id, and then the other could be 20mm OD 10mm ID, and just put a metal washer in between (or just use the ones that original come with the pedal set) Imo the springs feel much better than the elastomers, currently ordering a different spring since my original set of springs would kinda grate the rod and it felt a bit grainy. Highly recommend it. Braking hasnt felt any smoother than this
@@r3vlimit3r The original spring isnt that great, so it feels weird pressing it, since its very light, then it transitions into a meh stiffness. If you try out the springs and don’t prefer it, Skateboard bushings are a great alternative, really stiff and felt decent when i tried them (still not better than spring imo)
it's kind of confusing tbh/ hard to know what budget pedals are best to buy now because the new pro versions look the same but are different to these and then the UT version( just released) is different again.
@TheCostprice it can be confusing for sure there is allot of budget options on the table now. I always look though reddit and the fb groups and see what people are saying that bought them if they were sponsored they going to say good things anyways
I've not had issues with temperature affecting calibration thus far but my place is fairly consistent - between 23C - 28C (summer) or 21C - 23C (winter)
When the temperature changes and the calibration gets wrecked does the elastomers take the blame ? Are the rubbers getting softer and this leads to wrong calibration ? With this problem got fixed with better elastomers or springs instead ?
I've been using mine allot the last year and mine is not having any issues but I'm also 160 pounds I can see someone 250 to 300 pounds throwing it out of wack
I beleive Simsonn pedals come with a updated bearing design instead of bushes - to stop side to side play over time. Also Simsonn comes with a good set of bushes and springs for adjustability.
They are the same minus a few upgrades like bushings and bearings. From what I read they are a bit better but I have never used them myself so i can not confirm that. They do use same loadcell and everything else.

Very useful video for people looking to get the simjacks!
Thanks they treated me well so far

Thanks for this review! I have a question about température sensitivity, is IT the loadcell or the elastomers ?
From what I read in reddit it was the loadcell
Great, detailed video!
Any thoughts on how these compare to fanatec v3? ( Which is what I'm using now)
Great review for someone thinking about these. How much are the import fees into Canada?
I paid around $49 for import fees
No fee on temu
I have noticed that you have a GT Omega Prime lite. How do they fit on that tray? I guess you had to make 2 holes for the brake pedal?
My cockpit is a 6 sigma 6-80 but I did need to drill holes for it.
I have the fanatec v3 pedals. 90kg load cell. Are these any better?
People are saying loadcell plate are deforming is yours still straight?

I have the simsonn they are great pedals and worth the money
