I just purchased these and went on my first run with them. I gotta say the difference was drastic (keep in mind I was using 3 year old running shoes before this). There’s plenty of room and I run a size 12, I’m a bit of a heavy stepper and the cushion and bounce makes it so much easier to complete full strides, and they’re LIGHT. My run was much more enjoyable and I look forward to going on my runs again
Mine just arrived today in the same color as yours. Feels exactly as you said, a soft trampoline bubble on your feet 👌 excited to put some miles on this one
every time one of your videos for a running shoe or basketball shoes comes out, I watch it, but can you, when talking about the midsole, please pinch the heel and forefoot areas with your hand? I know it doesn't really add to the review but it is so satisfying
Great video as always! Can you review the Gel Nimbus 25 next please? I just got into running as my New Year’s resolution and have been struggling to get a good shoe with good cushioning that I can feel comfortable with as a heavy flat footed runner
Hands down one of the best walking and easy run shoe. I only use the Vomero for those and the occasional strides after a run. The ZoomX and Cushlon 3.0 is a winning combo.
Beefier version of the Peg Turbo 1 & 2s basically. Desceibes a lot of similar characteristics except the upper, OG turbos were narrow in the forefoot. Sounds like I need to get a pair 😂
What sneaker for mainly for light runs and sometime little bit basketball? Vomero 14 was pretty good for that, but it had flywire. Do these compare to that , i think this is little more unstable to that when copared to the 14 model. But anyways any other stable running shoes i should look for ?
I ended up getting the Vomero 17, never regret it I love the plush feel and responsiveness of the ZoomX. It also can double as a walking shoes just like the video said. But design is kinda boring
Great video! Just wanted to know regarding gp challenge 1 shoe how the scuffing durability is, asking because I see some wax of a guard there and I'm wondering if it's a durable or on the durable side of waxed drag guards or weaker side.
What I mean by this is when looking at a shoe, the part on the outer side of the shoe, if the drag guard spans there, I'm not really sure how to describe it becuase I have heard scuffing before as the term.
you reviewing the Adizero Select 2.0??? Just picked em up at Dick's and seeing there's not much reviews... I'm pretty impressed, but curious in the teardown of em
Depends what’s causing the shin splints but it’s basically anything that decreases stress/strain/ torsion on the lower leg and is easiest for you TA muscle to deal with
What a trying to say is ¿what would be jordan playstyle and what shoe would fit his playstyle the best? Because he has sneackers with less cushion, other with to much cushion and other different caractheristics
Grab a pair at Nike: geni.us/vomero17

Most underrated shoe in 2024 so far. So amazing!!!!
So exited for all the new running shoes breakdowns coming out

I really like the grip ramp, I don't think it's the end all-be all but I do think it's a useful illustration of initial grip.
Yeah agreed

Great review, as a guy who mostly plays basketball you think these would be good for everyday running, even picking up the speed ?
I liked them for that

Sounds like I need to get a pair 😂
Compared to the Adizero SL which trainer is better?
What shoes do you recommend for cushioning after a metatarsal fracture, please? I really appreciate your input 🙏🏻
it's comfortable for long walks and standing?

you should break down the vomero 5s.
Keep these types of shoes coming.
Hi Zach, what are the orthotics you would recommend to go with the vomero 17? I am a heavier runner looking to get back into running.
Could you do a breakdown on the ASICS Superblast? Would be curious to know what makes it the best performing non-plated running shoe
Already did
@@FootDoctorZach ooh awesome haha. Missed it
Custom Forefoot shaped weight to drag on the grip test board..make it to fit inside the shoe maybe
Pegasus 40 or this Vomero 17?
I'm late but Vomero 17.

How is this for a work shoe? On your feet 8-10 hrs? Lot of walking etc
Ok ty

Been waiting for this one
@footdoctorzach do you have a running shoe that you recommend for heavier runners? Over 200lbs

Are they better than Pegasus 40’s?
It's a more luxurious version of the pegasus 40. It's what the pegs should be after 40 years of the shoe lol
How long for a good break in time? I just got these to use on a treadmill to help me quit smoking.
I broke these in in about a day
hey zach, great video, I just have question that how do you if a shoes good for shin splint, is it because of the heel cushion or the support ?
Depends what’s causing the shin splints but it’s basically anything that decreases stress/strain/ torsion on the lower leg and is easiest for you TA muscle to deal with
When are you doing the adizero select 2.0
Is the fit same with invincible 3 ? Or different ?
Grip test is awesome, would be great if also done in wet surface:)
What is the best basketball shoes?
I have a question ¿what shoes would michael jordan wear if he played today??
Jordan 38
I’m sure his signature
If he didn't have a signature shoe, he probably wear kobes
GT Cut, Kobes?
What a trying to say is ¿what would be jordan playstyle and what shoe would fit his playstyle the best?
Because he has sneackers with less cushion, other with to much cushion and other different caractheristics
Please do a video of the new huarache runner.
Why am I hearing '10 seconds highest grit sandpaper' in my sleep? 👕🛏😴
That’s when you know you’re a sneaker head
9.5cm heel-toe drop?🤔2:07
WOW fission 9 coming soon?
Already reviewed them
What’s the best colorway?
🤷♂️ I don’t really pay attention
I like the navy blue one
i have to wear that burning furnace for its heel strike comfort until it meets mileage. please don't do this again NIKE
