I love your reviews so much. It’s so interesting to see how different shoe technologies interact or are designed to interact with biomechanics. Really, really interesting work, thank you!
I am so happy with the VF Next%3. The upper is the most comfortable of the Vaporfly line. I couldn't run in the more stiff Next%2. I liked running in the Next%1 and was my go to race shoe for the last 2 years, but the Next%3 is a step up in both fit and runnability.
This is the Vaporfly I had been waiting for. I like the Vaporfly 2 but, for me, it's a bit narrow in the forefoot and not something I want to take on runs longer than 10 miles. For me, it's best for 5~10K races and speed sessions. The VF3 is great for long distances and it'd be my choice right now for half and full marathons. It's softer and more forgiving than the VF2 but still extremely propulsive and fast. I really appreciate the extra foam under the forefoot and mid-foot as that is where I primarily strike. To me, it feels like a lighter, faster, and more nimble version of the Adidas Prime X Strung.
Absolutely love your cutaway videos. I’m a running channel and love that you do this same level of detail for running shoes as tennis and basketball. Thank you! I’d love to see you do this to a Nike Pegasus 40. I’d be really curious your thoughts on it and the cutaway.
Great review, I am senior and slow but when I run with young runners I take the Vaporfly V2.. I just fly and I am a heel striker... No other shoe does this Superman feel. Definitely getting the V3.
Absolutely obsessed with how in-depth you go with your reviews. Just discovered you and immediately subscribed. Would love to see an Adidas Adios Pro 3 review since it looks like it's been up on the marathon podium quite a bit recently (especially for rainy races) :)
The democratization of the vaporflies will make them more popular amongst average runners, the majority of runners. The next%3 seems to follow the notion of the adidas adios pro 3 and saucony endorphin pro 3, even puma deviate nitro elite 2 or so, as well.
As I don't want to use this as an everyday trainer, I'll still buy this 🥺🥺🥺 and use it daily since I have alphafly as a backup 😂😂😂. This channel is very informative and useful for buying running shoes
Its designed for a heel-striker. Do you think Nike would ever bring back another version more similar to the 2%? to answer your question, no I won't take a chance with these unless I could cut the heel off but these are too expensive to experiment with.
Great vid! Been a big fan and love the bball shoe reviews, need them to know which shoes I can fit my side duck flipper feet in. Just now getting in to running and excited to binge your running shoe reviews. Would love to see an Adidas Adios pro 3 review!
Very informative video, thank you! I was wondering whether heal strikers should opt for the vaporfly 2 or the vaporfly 3 to run faster on race day (specifically a 5k race.) Thanks!
I'm a full time athlete, but my training is more based around sprinting, plyometrics and S&C. There are so many running shoes, and so many lets say CrossFit type shoes, but there's no one out there giving any reviews or insights into them. Would you be able to give your two cents on what daily trainer would be best? I mean vaporfly's have carbon fiber insole which could be great for energy return, but does that apply to shorter bursts. Are they designed so specifically for distance that I'm wasting my money going for them? Thanks for your vids!
Hey, do you think i can use these for warm ups for sprinting etc and being a 400m sprinter does this shoe suit me for that type of training when not in spikes?
I didn't like this shoe at all. It made my legs fatigue quickly, and didn't have that same Vaporfly feel to it when running. Only 9 miles out of the box, and I already had noticeable heel wear. The 2nd version was good, and the 1st version was the best.
I know you don’t really cover the sport but I wonder what you’d think of some of the Nike track spikes. I always wonder how much faster the zoom spikes make you
Dear zach: can u share the alphafly 2 jump high test(I think this is not in previous test coz its not in that system test, data I notice alphafly3 unrelease is put air zoom under a Vaporfly base shape at the forefoot part. Eith ur video here indicated that vfly3 jump high data will upgrade with airzoom under forefoot.
That’s why I put widths in the sizing - I can’t really tell what size and shape you are without examining but this video will show you how to match the shape of your foot with any shoe you may be looking at online ruclips.net/video/sqn8k3tVl6c/видео.html
Worst shoe I ever had! I was waiting to get a pretty awesome cushioning, but what I got was a bouncy shoe. 2 months using and there's no more cushioning left (worse than the beginning).
These sneakers aren't fair lol i used them on the treadmill and crushed my old 5k time. I was using Saucony Endorphin Speeds before these the difference is huge with the Vaporflys
Grab a pair at Nike: geni.us/vaporfly3
Do they basketball!
Ever since i discovered this channel this became my standard for shoe reviews. Really love how you review shoes objectively!
Thanks- I'm tryin
Same bro!

This is a great addition to my rotation with my Novablasts (daily) and Nimbus 25's (easy/recovery) as the fast/speed trainers

3:05 This is awesome and this why i always return to this channel
My one and only running shoe 🏁🏃🏻 i love this shoe!
This is definitely the best shoe review channel he tells me all I need 😊🙏
I was waiting for this review ❤
Great review 💪🏿🧠
Cannot wait for the review of Li-Ning Liren (Sharp Edge 3) V2 those are🔥💯

Loved this shoe review! I won't pick one up myself just cause I need stability in bulk but 100% for those that can run right this is crazy good!
Was looking forward to this one!
Please do a review on AF2 Vs Adidas AP3 and how it could affect Kipchoge performance in the recent Boston Marathon.
Been waiting for this 🙌
Great breakdown Doc, as always! These are some wild looking sneakers, really cool. Hopefully you can do the Nike Cosmic Unity 3, next!

Altra are great running shoes for wider forefoots
I tried this at a store and it was legit af. more comfy than my alphafly 2 😂😂😂😂
very informative and useful video, is it good for sprints and everyday use?
Better than previous for sure - sprints better than daily use
Looking forward to your review of the nike zoomx streakfly, I like wearing it run on the treadmill
Best channel for shoe reviews..
is this shoe ok for gym ???
Very informative video, thank you! I was wondering whether heal strikers should opt for the vaporfly 2 or the vaporfly 3 to run faster on race day (specifically a 5k race.) Thanks!
I’d rather the 3
Your vids are always 9.5 out of 10 and they would be 10 out of 10 but that Bucks flag is definitely a no go
lol
At least it's not a 🏳️🌈 🤡 flag.

Do they work with pronation? Thanks and greets from Germany
Nice video ❤
Is it good for daily workout? And also for jumping drills?
Do you guys think that the sizings are same with pegasus 40 or Tempo Fly?
Hey, do you think i can use these for warm ups for sprinting etc and being a 400m sprinter does this shoe suit me for that type of training when not in spikes?
Man I’m dying for this shoes and you’re cutting is so smoothly!!! NO😅
Hoka rocket x2 review please!!!
Need that Cosmic Unity Phantom review

Its more the shank set up than anything else- the zoom makes it more comfortable from my experience
is this ok for regular use? , by that i mean for non runners
Size 12 wide feet 250 pound. Is my feet character suitable with this shoes?
Do they work with pronation ?? I really want them, but my feet can’t stand some shoes 😢
Would these shoes be good for someone who suffers from plantar fasciitis?
Got the Vaporfly 2 for a great deal. Didn’t like how “holey” the Vaporfly 3 looked and they need better colors. Not digging them.
I simply want some simple blue/white or white/red style color schemes, not fruity only looking shoes😒
@@davidh5429 totally agree
Awesome, must buy them
Dr. Zach can you review evans chebet adidas adios pro 3
Planning to use it in playing volleyball
RIP your ankles
if they made one of these in a regular color like black or white I would pick one up but I really hate how it looks with the gaudy colors
I think my link goes to the all white and grey one
@@FootDoctorZach ah okay thanks much

22cm
You need to do new balance 1080x's
I have a question regarding the sizing. If I'm a 10.5 and I can only get a 10 or 11, which do you think would be the best to go with?

@Foot Doctor Zach I am just wondering which is the lesser of two evils. .5 of a size too big or .5 too small? I use 10.5 in the Vaporfly 2
Always go .5 up in Nike. Never ever go down. Thank me later. 🥰
Hey :D bring the Puma Deviate Nitro 2 please ♥
Is helpful for 800 meter?
Please tell me what kind of pink-orange socks you have?
Apthcry
@@FootDoctorZachthx dude! Greetings from Kyiv!

Nike made a nice one

Can it still go low 2 in the marathon
I don't see why not

Not sure you can make claims about aerodynamics without actual testing.
I’ll call AMG and see if I can borrow their wind tunnel
