This is probably the best method out there from what I've seen. This seems to let you use maschine, but keep your same FL studio workflows for mixing tracks. Thanks man i appreciate it!
1:08 when you're doing this you can set "1 Maschine Out 1 R" to any mixer channel and then 'Auto map Outputs' and FL will map them the same way as in this video, only beginning with whatever channel you started with, so you dont have to off-number them
Hey, just letting you know that you can easily map all 16 pads! In the processing settings tab, click "Auto map outputs". Then just map all the pads as shown in the video but start from Ext. 1 (not Ext. 2 as shown). Now you just have to send Maschine 2 to a mixer track and you're done! Your pads are now being sent to the mixer starting from whichever track you sent Maschine 2 to. Pad 1 will be on the Maschine 2 mixer track, Pad 2 on the track right next to it, etc. Thanks for the initial help Nulty! I hope this helps in return. :) EXTRA TIP: If you don't want to have to deal with mapping every time you open Mashine 2, there are two methods: Method 1 (Fastest) - Add Maschine 2 To Your Plugins Shortcut List: Open Maschine 2 and do all the mapping. Now click the fruity wrapper arrow on the top left, then click "Add plugin to database". Before you do this though, make sure that you have your FL browser open under "Plugin Database", "Generators" and whatever section you wish to add your Maschine 2 shortcut to. I put mine inside "Drums" because that's where FPC lives. You now have a ready-mapped Maschine 2 inside your plugin list. Method 2 - Create A Maschine 2 Template: Again, map everything. This time click the arrow on the top left of Maschine 2 (not fruity wrapper) and click "File", "Save As". You now have a preset that you can access by clicking the same arrow as before, then "Open".

There's a couple things here. You're going to want to go into settings in FL, manage plugins, and click 'refresh' so that it can scan for Maschine. If Machine isn't showing up, that means the VST isn't in the proper folder within your computer. You'll want to A) Find out what folder in your computer FL is pulling from, and then B) get the Machine VST pasted into that folder. After you go through that process, you would again 'refresh' plugin list within FL Studio. Once the plugin does show up, you want to hit the star next to it which 'favorites' it. This will ensure that the plugin populates as an option in your normal workflow when picking plugins.
If you want to use over 15 sounds from maschine, and still have them map to their own mixer channel, is there a way to do this? Such as open a second instance of Maschine and set the mixer track for that to 16?
To be honest, I'm not sure. I've never needed more than 16 pads so I never bothered to try. I would guess that it's not possible because maschine only gives you extension 1 through 16, but it's always worth trying. Let me know what you find!
the problem i have is getting it to the point to where i can select it as a plug in. it shows up in my midi setting but i cant asign it to my channel rack as it doesnt show up as a option

I'm not very familiar with midi mode, but as far as I can tell you shouldn't need any extra or specific cables to get it up and running. Keep in mind, Maschine was not built with FL Studio in mind, so if you run into issues that seem unsolvable it's probably going to be because of that.

It'd be tough to say without really being able to look at your settings. There's no reason the demo should restrict your ability to use machine though, so most likely its just a settings issue you have. Do you get sound from the pads normally?
@@nultymusic7758 gotcha, this is my first time attempting to use the Maschine.
