      I have bunch of videos on outlook. Doesn't make sense to make repetitive videos. Please watch my other videos. I also gone over how to map a share drive as well.

      Yep. I mean it doesn't have to be perfect. You can shortened the answers.

    why's it called "backdoor?" That's totally a hacking term for when you have a shell running in the background on the DL. That question would kill me on an interview.

    What support Engineer level 2 should know? I am working as a service desk level 1 for almost 2 years I want to develop my career I have been in some interviews for level 2 but not succeed. I need your advice on what I should know for level 2 independently of the company

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  4 года назад +3

      level 2 is more of group policy, imaging, deploying software, running dns and dhcp changes. Understanding networking in depth like firewall changes and also advanced software deployment on servers like server 2016.

    I’ve been watching these interview videos the past couple of days , one question . Would these questions be asked for a IT LEVEL 2 SPECIALIST or would there be more complicated questions ?

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  3 года назад

      Depends on the company. Some of these questions can be entry level or tier 2.

    question 9 doesn't make sense. how do you install through command if CMD is disabled but CMD and command line are the same thing, no?

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  4 года назад +5

      You can open it up on the c drive and run as admin or you can temporarily enable cmd for that user. Than you run the command afterwards. There cmd app on c drive. Just because its disabled doesn't mean you can't open it. You can run as the administrator and open it on the c drive system 32 files. I did that in my last job. There always a work around. The admin can open it even if its disabled. Also cmd disabled can mean they can open it but not run it or disabled can also mean that it's not on the computer when you look for it on the start menu. It can be disabled for the user but if you do run as admin, it will work for you. The person doing the interview has be to more specific but disabled can mean a lot of things 😀.

      Not sure what the limit is but you can definitely share the screen with it.

    What software's should I learn on desktop support role jobs?

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  4 года назад +3

      Most companies are asking for server 2016, office 365 and video conference apps. It depends on the company but for the most part it's usually 365 and server stuff.

    I've got an interview tomorrow as I applied for a Service Desk Analyst job just wondering are these questions for experienced Help desk employees or for entry level(which is me recently graduated).

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  3 года назад +1

      Both because a question in a job interview can pretty much be anything.
