True, look at how History has rewritten The Civil War. Most people believe the war was only about freeing slaves. Very little research will prove this a myth (the first Emancipation Proclamation, which still allowed slavery in bordering states, was written 2 years into the war). Once they reclaimed The South, they immediately concord The West, using some of the same Union Officers (including Custard) to destroy The Native Americans. Of course, this will never be taught in schools.

csu111 I’m not religious nor do I believe in history. I was just throwing out examples that a good percent of people know or believe in. Of course all of us have good stories that can be made into films but no one will care or want to produce it unless we were up there in wealthier status. Reason he wants it to be accurate is because I’m sure they did research and talked to the people involved to know the situation and to switch thing up is crazy. You would think he wasn’t all the way there, which isn’t true if you watch the movie.. I’ll pass on my film if they portray me like that when I’m the opposite

When this movie in 2009, I lost my son in September 20, 2009. Light on the railroad tracks two blocks from the house. He was 6'7' about 270lbs. When I see any movie with high football and the big player on there I think of Kolby my son. I cry and I still do. Been 11 years now still cry. It's hard when you lost a child even at 23 and 15 days old. What I'm trying to say is keep loving your kids and tell them you love them. That's the last words we said to each other that day. Good night he laid on the railroad tracks two blocks from the house.

That's where the term 'Hollywood Spin' comes from. They do it to real life stories, Books, Plays.. Listen I loved the movie.. and for others that did as well I'm sure they took the time as I did to read up on the real story... What they did to 'Biggies' life story was tragic, but I realize it's because I lived through the story as an outsider of course, so I can imagine how Michael would feel as he does about a movie about his life that doesn't look like his life..

No. Most of the time many things will be changed to make it more public palatable. Movies are not documentaries that have an obligation to make factual content.
