Got to try this with the designer at ukge in may and was very impressed. Your voice overs really elevate it though ;) better than a lot disneys churned out in the past few years!
Great catch! I didn't look at it closely after I started the scenario, so in my head I morphed "3 strength plan action" into "3 strength ANY action", lol.
49:30 - Watching all enemies piled on there and seeing there are only 2 minutes to the end of the video I thought someone will be killed on the next event and the game will be lost. But lo and behold you took the egg and ran to the Jawa in a flash. Awesome. Did you try multi-handed play, and even if not, do you think it would be better or worse?
The true solo mode I show here works totally fine, but I prefer multi-handed, for the exact reason you spotted at the end of the video. In a multi-handed game I couldn't chain so many actions for the same character together, and this would have been a tenser finish.
We discussed this in more detail in our podcast review, but yes going by the rules as written some of the later missions say that you are supposed to always use the traitor mode on them. But this is basically a lie and silly. I played some of those missions, and if you crank the difficulty up to the higher levels they are still very exciting and challenging. And since the traitor mode always leaves a possibility for there not to BE a traitor (unless you are playing 4 player), I think they knew they had to balance them to be tough. So long story short, you can play 23 out of 24 mission combinations in the game without using the hidden traitor mechanic, and I think it works well doing so. There is a 24th mission combo where it's specifically a 1 vs many mode (one player controls the enemy side). That one you can't really solo/co-op :)
Great video! I only just heard about this game quite recently, so I'm pretty excited to pick it up and try it!! Love me some Mando. Also, do you think you guys will be checking out "Star Trek Captain's Chair" when it releases? I'm curious on your opinion on that one. It certainly looks interesting!
möchte den rest des buches sehen, kaufe nicht mehr Blind jedes spiel oder ist das Spiel so schlecht und wenig an Missionen. Nein so werde ich es nicht kaufen !

They gotta put me in Andor season 2! :)
Nice! Looking forward to this one. Seems pretty cool.
Awesome! I’ve been waiting for some information on this game.
Hope this is helpful!
50:05 Did you use a Mandalorian token to do a move there? The map says those tokens can do a free 3 strength plan action.

I wonder if its just easier to pay 2 separate characters for solo, like u say it doesn't seem like it will hurt gameplay!
Oh it’s definitely better and more balanced, in my opinion.
@@OneStopCoopShop Great. Mines coming 2nd August so will go for multi handed! Thanks!
I noticed some people talking about the additional missions (excluding traitor mode) not being able to be played solo. Is this true?
And are there missions that require Traitor mode as mandatory in order to play them?

I reached out and they said I’m probably on the list, so maybe!

Like I said in the separate review video there are 6 ways to play every map, so the variety isn’t incredible but it certainly isn’t bad
