Nice video, this reminds me I should try out my oysi frames again for a bit. I've been hooked on metal frames the last couple of years, they just feel so powerful to skate around on.
Great video! Ive been struggling to get my Brutales to feel right especially as i have poor natural forward lean in my ankles. Hearing you talk about the flatter Faction boot made me remove the heel and the fit is now perfect. Thanks for making me think
Would you suggest the Oysi Medium or Oysi classic (or even the FR Oysi) frame for a beginner who wants to skate around the park for the most part and grind once in a while (can't grind yet, still learning)? If it matters, I have a 45-46EU FR UFR AP boot, thanks!
yo Ricardo thnk you for making this video!! i just ordered some black oysi frames and im goin from skatin nti rocker for long time so i cant fkn wait! thanx again for the content!!!
I wonder if direct mount on the boot of the factions will make them slower aswell. Might be able to bust a myth that direct mount to the boot is more responsive. Maybe the soul might actually be a stiffer base for the frame for power transfer. Who knows!
Hey Ricardo, I have a question and maybe you can help me I got nice skills in Freeskate and Wizard, I start on the skatepark with aggressive skates I got a pair of Chris Farmer Sway Im gona buy the OYSI MEDIUM my size are 39 - 40 you recommend me the 257mm or the 269mm also i want to ride with rockering as my Freeskate/Wizard setup wich wheels I need ? many thanks preciated so much your experience and advice 🤗❤
I have a request… could you do a tutorial on wheels slides with aggressive skates? I’ve tried for so long but either i end up doing a cess slide, or I just get stuck!
Ricardo, within so many years skating, did you ever experience neuromas on your feet? (numbed 3rd and 4th toes, pain, swelling on the nerve between those toes) If so, how did you solve it? Any experience from your friends in that regard you can share?
@@ygorhm why would that make any difference? Most frames on the market are made for 60mm wheels. It wouldnt take that much design adjustment to make a hi/lo frame with 60mm outers.
The outer wheels are slightly smaller. Smaller wheels should be slower than bigger wheels since they will have to spin more times to cover the same distance.
I prefer the groove of the mediums. Even though it's smaller, I feel more locked and controlled than I do with the big classic groove. But I had a similar experience where I felt really slow when I moved them onto my Blanks. The Blank feels slower than most of my skates in general for some reason, which is kind of a shame because the royale groove feels perfect with Oysi mediums. I swapped over some Prime frames with Hexi walls and they actually felt faster, despite having smaller wheels in the middle. Overall though, Oysi mediums are my favorite frames out of everything I've skated -- just not sure why they feel slower on the Blanks. It probably has more to do with the boot than the frame.
I think its the weight of the blanks that makes them so slow. I could be making that up but it was my experience the one time I put a pair on that they felt like they glued my feet to the ground a bit more.
Most Oysi skaters have no style. Plus the frames themselves are ugly. I've absolutely no problem with antis although I ride flat, both have pro/cons, but as a general observation Oysi frames appeal to bad skaters.
Well.. as much as I want respect your comment I can’t agree as I think BFree and Robbie Have dope styles. Both different but both amazing. And as a product I don’t see their appealing to bad skaters.. they fill a space that was blank until they entered our industry.. but that’s of course my personal opinion
Bruh. The fact that I kept searching "Wish" and not finding anything... and now I find out it's OYSI?! WTF? 😂

The colorway on the Faction with the classic frame and wheels look dope tho 👍

not too stoked on the final vverdict tho lmao (i got the mediums)

i really wanna try the medium oysi. i find the classic just a little too tall... hard to get boot down.
64mm bullet profile with 58 dead inners on medium oysi 257mm = swivel FUN on/off any grind!

Hey, are you also still using the TNEC-frames?
Freaking love them 💜

Based on their website and charts, you need to put 64 and 58mm wheels to get a 0.5mm rocker for the medium frame
If Oysi ever release a frame that's 60/56/56/60 or some such similar configuration then i'd be in frame heaven.
That is hard because of the UFS bolt. I made a hi-lo frame and the only configuration that I found that fits well was 60/52/52/60

Kizer slimline is that exact configuration 60/56/56/60
Give the doggie some wateeeer 😢🖤 nice video though!
Oysi medium is my dessert island frame for sure. Like if I could only have one frame for everything forever.
You could skate a wooden frame with metal wheels and they would work

th first step is admitting youre an addict
Carbon vs. plastic skates. That’s why they feel
Slower.
