Brad, thank you! I ordered lights and got a surprise when I looked under the hood. The ones I ordered aren't plug and play. Returning to Amazon. And getting these. Thanks again. Just purchased a 2011 Kia and wanted to upgrade the headlights.
I installed low and high beam bulbs and fog lights and for some reason I got traction control light and my brake lights are on when my headlights are on but when I turn my headlights off my brake lights go off
Hey man, did you watch the video before you posted it? You're describing the installation but all we see is your stomach and the top of your hand. Perhaps the video would be more instructive if you showed what you're doing in the bulb/socket area.
Was it worth it. I'm familiar with the tight margins of the optima's headlight assembly and only want to do this if it's worth it. Bought some high end Sylvania bulbs for them to only burn out in under a year, not worth the hassle.
@@bradtaft3265 yeah I bought some soon after my comment. The day I finished installing them I literally got in a car accident and haven't had my car since. Can't wait to see the improvement. Did you re-aim?

Awesome upgrade for sure!
Thanks for posting this. I just got my HIKARI LED bulbs and now I am just waiting for the adapter cable to come in, so I can also install them!
You won't regret it!

Did the dust cover fit back on?
Do I have yo buy low beam bulbs and high beam or just a pair. 2012 Kia Optima lx
Yes low are separate from high beams.
I can't really tell how you're connecting it because your hands and arms are in the way I wish you would show more of the detail
Too bad you cant see anything
I just watched this video twice, and I can't tell what that connector is from. Did it come with the LED bulb? Did you buy it, make it?
Thanks for watching. Connector came with the bulbs.

@@ShonTolliverMusic how are they?
Mine is a halogen bulb, can’t see anything you’re doing
did everything and my lights are not turning on, connectors seem to be falling down slightly and slipping out of socket, could that be the reason?
Idk if I’m anywhere near being right, but you might need a resistor. But he didn’t use one so it might be that they just aren’t connected good
