      @@SIXITHS Kimi has 21, Max has 20, Jenson Button has 15 and Massa has 11... 10 wins definetly isn't a bad result in 5 years, especially considering how he is literally a second driver in the team and has been ordered to switch places with Lewis multiple times

    • @SIXITHS
      @SIXITHS 2 года назад +8

      @@codemy666 Massa never had access to the kind of exemplary machinery that Bottas has had, and nearly being killed had a massive negative effect on his career, as you should have remembered. He never won another race after his incredible escape from nearly having a loose spring cave his skull in.
      Most of Button's wins in his 2009 season were with a car that was only the best for the first half of the season, and his WDC got him a drive at McLaren gaining him another 8 wins there. He had only had a single win before 2009 because he was driving uncompetitive midfield cars. In the single season that he had a front-running car he won 6 races and wrapped up the title. Comparing Bottas to Button is not a favourable comparison for Valteri in any way.
      Kimi's 21 wins came from 9 different years, some of those in a near-bankrupt Lotus team, whilst racing against MSC, Alonso, Vettel and Hamilton. He never had the dominant car of the field in any year he raced.
      None of the drivers you mentioned had the best car for years on end. Along with the poor luck, Bottas' too-often bad race starts have also cost him. I wish he had done much better, but you have to acknowledge reality even if it is painful.
