Many thanks for another great video. We have been following your earlier instructive videos on repairing the sills and rear wheel arches on our silver NB having used the materials you mentioned and it is now ready for paint. We would now very much appreciate your suggestions on a suitable filler primer plus base and clear paints which will be user friendly and give a good finish. Thanks again for all the great videos.
nice and very beautifull colour Do you have the name and code off the colour? also learn a lot from body work. i am traying to rrepair and welding honda crx . learn from you. big thanks from belgium
Hi Ross, could you please message us on our instagram? ( if you have it). We could give you a price there if that is OK? Yorkshire_car_restoration Let us know if not and we can sort something. Thanks Ross
No paint booth?,is that allowed in your country?-we would be closed down if we did that.2k lacquer overspray everywhere as well.where are the fumes going-outside?
Amazing job, thanks for sharing your skills! Is there a reason why you didn't raise the car on the lift for the sanding? Would save a lot of kneeling & back ache!
thank you :) at the time we were restricted in space and time as these vids are done after a days work and usually no space or ramp free or time to get it on a ramp :D
Amazing job..I watched the video on the MX5 sill repair..All credit to you you can tell there’s a LOT of experience there..Amazing work!
Thank you very much!

Nice job how did it become a hardtop when it was a rage top
Hai, in this video how many layers of base paint and how many layers of clear cot did you use?
3 layers of Base and 2 layers of laquer :)
@@yorkshirecarrestoration thanks for the reply, yous are very good👍
Nice work, but surprised they did not show the final panel wipe down before applying the base coat.
This vid wasnt really and instructional video just a quick run over the kind of process not the exact process :)
🙌🏽🙌🏽
You broke your own record in 19 minutes and 9 seconds 😂
Hi Leo, shame it's not that fast in real life haha :)
How much to paint a MK1?
Got a silver stone MK1 that needs a respray to get it back to its former glory!
At todays prices about £2k
Could you send us a message on Instagram please? Thanks
Any reason why you don't use a vacuum with hose on the sander to suck out all the dust?
Just preference :)
What's the rough cost of a job like this? I've got an NA which could use a nice paint job

Fair play to you for persevering! Just finished my chassis legs & sills - not sure I'd do it again 😂
Was it just me not noticing, or didn't you put any primer on the parts with fillerwork?
That’s not filler that’s primer :) it’s was primed the day before :)
how much did it cost?
Can you get us on instagram and we can give a breakdown

Thanks!
i wonder what it would have looked like if i had had a go at it!
Anyone can paint with a little instruction :)
Im surprised it didn't pick up dust from the floor while spraying it need to get a paint booth
How much paint used up
about 1 lt of base as its a very transparent colour.
Shame you didnt remove the rain rail and window seals and windscreen...
Customers budget didn't allow for this
Least you put a mask on for the clear coat!!
i know im forgetful :)
That poor 2 post looks all full of paint lol
that ramp is a good work horse :)
Anyone who knows how to paint in a garage will always paint it in a chamber, then paint it and that’s it.
