  • Ready to start simplifying your life with step-by-step guidance and an encouraging environment? 🌱
Check out my new Simple Life Blueprint course here: www.sunnykindjourney.com/course
Choosing a simpler life can feel scary because of the unknown, change, and fear of not succeeding. As we aim for a more fulfilling life, it's normal to be both excited and worried.
Not knowing what to expect makes us hesitant to step into a quieter, intentional life. We might wonder, "How can I live slowly without giving up what I know?" The truth is, the simplicity we want is often on the other side of uncertainty 🌛
Change can be tough as we think about adopting a slow or simple living lifestyle. We might ask ourselves, "Can I really change my habits for a better life?" Taking a break from our fast-paced life and choosing a more intentional, thoughtful way of living means dealing with the nervousness about change.
In our journey to simplicity, it's important to remember that everyone's path is different. We can learn how to be a minimalist and declutter, but it's okay to make mistakes on our intentional living, self-care journey ❄️
Move gently toward a life that makes you happy and true to yourself.

One of the more difficult things for me was my friendship with people who were well off and enjoyed a more upscale lifestyle than I felt comfortable with. I loved being with them but often felt I was compromising the life I wanted. In the end some drifted away but the ones who stayed were the ones who could live their lives and still respect the way I wanted to live my life. It was a good solution.
You do wonderful videos and your country is so beautiful.

Another thought provoking video. Thanks Seve.
I've been going through this journey for about 5 years now. Not really geared toward minimalism, but just in a general sense cleaning up my life and understanding who I am at my core.
I used to use the term mindfulness. When I discovered this it was like a great revelation to me.
But I have since learned that the mind is not my core. It is my thinking tool, much in the way the body is my vehicle on this planet. Mindfulness then was a way to look at mind, which is a kind of weird paradox. A first step in understanding.
There is something above mind, and that is my core, or who I actually am. For me that is a spiritual revelation. The next step if you will.
At the level of mind, the world is big, it is persuasive, it is influential, and it is a bit tormenting or troublesome.
Go above mind, and the world almost seems trivial. Not in a dismissive way, I don't mean to say it isn't real or unimportant.
But really what we mean by "world" is the collective influences and pressures that society would impose on us. And these are huge to the mind.
But in the spirit, they are more curiosities. Even our own fears start to look like curiosities.
In the end, life becomes benevolent, not imposing. When we detach really from believing we are this mind created 'person' and become who we truly are.
It is here that we can truly let go of things, beliefs, pressures and all the things the mind tells us we should be doing or not doing. Free.
But the mind doesn't give up control easily...
It occurs to me that the idea of physical minimalism is a symbolic attempt in the world of our spirit wanting to be free of fear, of beliefs, of the false self.
Drop the mind self and the true self will begin to drop all that is unnecessary.
