Am I the only one who paid attention to the cartoon ? His hair is not suppose to be yellow it is suppose to be orange , Prince Adams hair is yellow but again not He-Mans

An "Okay" Figure! But not a must have, because i have already 7(+-) He-Mans Variations! I don't know how the origins continue (without rebooting everything) .... any news on wave 17?
Loved the review! I'm a big fan of the improvements on the heads for both Cartoon Collection He-Man & Beast Man, also love that they're including episode specific accessories and stuff like adding the sheath for He-Man's sword. I have not been impressed with the new bodies though, especially the 'x' quads, they immediately draw the eyes attention as major eyesore. The posture's also weird, whereas before everyone was a little 'squatty' they've overcorrected and now the figures look a little too stiff, rigid & upright, He-man more so than Beast Man.
He-Man and Beast Man's colours are also completely wrong. They should have much darker skin tone and hair.
I actually didn't miss this I fell asleep due to some of my medication
Haven't seen these in stores yet, but this version of He-Man looks really good. I sort of like the chrome sword from the previous figure, but the gray is probably more what I remember from the cartoon.

When Nintendo made super mario bros - the very first one on the NES they made the first world 1-1 last. They did it that way because they knew first impressions was important and they wanted to have gained as much knowledge as possible about the game, how it works and how to code before they made it.
I feel like this type of reasoning should apply to He-man and Skeletor too. That face can be improved upon.
I'm so glad I skipped the 40th anniversary set of 4 he men. Awesome look at this figure looking forward to getting the cartoon collection figures. Way to go Mattel on figuring out how to get me to rebuy these primary characters yet again lol.
After Skeletor and Man at Arms it will be Teela and Trap Jaw for this line

It is a nice figure, but, for me, I never understood why people want figures with LESS detail. Because MOTU is not being sold here in Brazil anymore, and importing is not cheap, i will skip this collection. The only thing I really liked so far, is the head of Beast Man, but because of the different colors, I would not be able to just put it on the regular Origins one.
When would this be out to purchase?

I dont get the fetish of Mattel with small waist-semi squatting figures...pretty sure they dont look like that in the cartoons...i was looking forward for this but its still disappointing for me...sticking to the Filmation by Super7 ..great review
During the make of the original figures in the 1980s it was a common design. Ramco did it with the AWA figures.
Glad they have taken out the squat stance a little.

I’m going to be that guy and say I prefer the Zoolander He-Man face sculpt. Despite the lips the head looks more Filmation. The new head doesn’t look like He-Man, to me at least. Something seems off.🙈
I agree with you. The "Zoolander" He-man from the Mattel Creations four pack actually looks more like the Filmation Cartoon He-man. I think people exaggerate his lips. I think the He-man face on this figure is too plain it doesn't really look distinctly like He-man.
The colours are completely wrong, not even close to cartoon accuracy. He-Man's hair and skintone were much darker than Prince Adam's.

But the moment I saw this I saw the He-Man toy I wanted when I was a kid, one who looks exactly like he did in the cartoon and doesn't cost as much as the Classics Filmation line on the secondary market and Mattel knows that there are thousands of other suckers like me out there...
So yeah I'm probably going to end up getting it!
