Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 9 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have two boys named Luke and Leon and are expecting our third child in a few weeks. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 6 years.
Wat and I have owned several businesses together on Maenam walking street in Koh Samui. Right now our restaurant Lilikoi Bistro is closed but we will let you know when we reopen.

It's amazing to see how Luke has grown so much in maturity, after his 3 months vacation in America. Luke speaks fluently well in English, and he holds well conversations, especially with his mum! At some point in America, Luke was rude towards his cousins, but now it is a joy to see how he has matured so much for his young age. I also realised that Lily does reprimanded Luke when needed to, and Luke is quick to recognise his mum's reprimandation with obedience. Lily, you have such a beautiful family in Thailand, and you glow during your pregnancy!
This is just natural child development..You do notice a leap in their behaviour and knowledge etc from ages 3-4 years ..even if he hadn't have travelled abroad he would have eventually levelled out from "baby" mode to "child" ..it's just natural .. his behaviour with hitting was completely normal too and his cousins were older and the girl was the same.. if you'd have paid closer attention (eg.. opening Lukes gifts when repeatedly asked not to) both behaviours are 'normal' ..plus Luke showed a sweeter side too when getting the other girl candy from the pinata when she felt too shy to participate.
I did sign up for surf shark. Every time I leave the USA I could not log into my bank account or two of credit cards. It took 5 minutes to sign up and it solved my
log in issues. Love this video.

He was loud at the cafe because Luke took the toy gun off him (you can see it in the reflection of the glass door/wall to the cafe)..
Luke is so smart and cute...I never get tired of listening to what he has to say, and I also love to watch his spontaneous happy little dance every now and then. He is such a good son and brother, sweet, sweet boy! ♡

I'm watching it from Australia too , in Perth it made me missing my family in Thailand very much.
Koh Samui looks like a nice place, but Thailand is not a great place to raise kids in general. It's OK if you homeschool them or they go to an international school, otherwise the west, particularly Australia and the USA are much better places to raise children. Much cleaner, more child friendly, no corporal punishment, much better education and the list goes on.

Hi Lilli!!!! My partner and I are from sydney australia, we came out to Thailand gift s month one of our priority was to.come and see you and see your restaraunts lillikoi unfortunately you were closed ....we spoke to the lady across the road at the massage salon.
She was very nice I asked if you had had the baby!!! But she wasn't sure we walked to the end of the street and had my fav drink mango.shake!!!

Ha, I so feel your discomfort, Lily. Nearly 9 months pregnant in March in Thailand is no fun. I gave birth to my half-Thai son in May 2005. I also remember having to leave the condo when our power went out during this time of year too. Looks like that’s not changed.
