By a long mile, THE best Jaguar CD game and one of the very best titles for the Jaguar. God bless Rich Whitehouse and his incredible BigPEmu for allowing all of us (myself included) to give the game a chance to play :D

Yeah Battlemorph is the bomb! I also love the music, probably my 2nd favorite after T2K. And it’s situational and changes instantly when you go underwater for example. I keep hoping it will appear on a modern Atari collection but alas…

@@GregsGameRoom that's what I forgot to mention! The music does change dynamically during gameplay. The whole time I was writing and recording I knew I was forgetting something I wanted to talk about.
I really hope it comes out on something soon too...

I'd be all over a remake of Battlemorph on a modern console. Maybe even a sequel with excruciatingly long draw distances and realistic terrain.
Battlemorph is not only my favorite Jaguar game, it also has my favorite music soundtrack of any game I own (well into the thousands of titles at this point). Synthwave before that was ever a thing, or even had a name for the genre. And it was all chiptunes, it didn't stream off CD since the music instantly changed when you'd go underwater without stuttering while a CD-ROM drive seeks the new track.

One of my favorite open word shooters, I justified my jag cds purchase with this game. Some thing about the music was really catchy to me and unique how fast it switches when going underwater and back. I'd love a sequel on the new vcs and or vr.

Really like the graphics on this one. Any Atarian would feel like a space pilot playing this game.

Yeah, I really hope songbird does a cartridge release like they did for Iron Soldier 2. It looks like such a great game, and yet there really isn't a good way to play it on original hardware.

I think songbird does an excellent job supporting the Atari consoles. Jaguar and Lynx.
I prefer to buy games and gear from songbird than the atariage store.

It's a shame that the Jaguar and Jaguar CD didn't last longer than it did, they probably could've been able to compete with the Sega Saturn, PS1 and N64, who knows, it might've gotten a version of need for speed, is there any chance the Jaguar could pull off that game?
