As a huge fan of Kollok 1991, I legitimately almost cried when the God of Purity started to sing Bird in a Gilded Cage. This season has been absolutely outstanding, so Zac and the Hyper Crew should be proud.
anyone who's just here because their favorite internet celebrity was in this ep is MAJORLY missing out. i'm late compared to the live viewers but i've watched to here and been consistently and genuinely blown away by this show. the rp and production value is incredible, the story and quality of the storytelling are crazy good, like y'all are missing a really good story if you just wanted to watch the ep with markiplier in it. there's a lot of material for kollok and it doesn't disappoint!!
This was the first one I watched, and I was already pretty impressed at the production value, but then going back and watching other episodes and realizing that this is normally a 'sitting at a table' show blows my mind even more that you pulled off the jump to a multi-scene, large cast production complete with effects and costumes and then ran it *live?* what the fuck, holy shit!! you guys did an incredible job!
Oh boy, you are in for a treat. Kollok is less of a 'sitting at a table' show and more of a 'advancing the idea of what a live streamed ttrpg show can be all the time' show.

The Driver is such great fun in this as was everyone! Also the Driver appears to be a being of some power over story, in the series, it is interesting to see how small that power is when compared to the power of the Gods here! Great job all around!

I kept wondering what all the tweets about kollok was…what was this wonderful movie quality content? I watched this ep on the stream vod. Kind of understood what was going on. But I’m gonna watch from ep 1 cause I fell in love. Another thing: Aabria is what high school me wanted to do in theater but was too shy about it. I love fantasy and acting supernatural play but made no sense to write scripts about and shied away from. Anyways I’m just saying Aabria was amazing.it was all improv? Lordy I had heart eyes.

I DECLARE MARKS CHARACTER TO BE NIGHTIPLIER. No god can tell me otherwise. He acts just like a true mark ego. He is one of them. Maybe in the same universe but a different timeline? Who knows.
Everyone is so positive, so I feel bad for saying this.... Don't get me wrong, the show was great, but it had one flaw that I can't just let slide: Zac. Now, I know this is Zac's creation and he wants everything to go well, but as a narrator, instead of telling the audience what's going on, he's telling the actors what to do (which defeats the whole idea of improv). If he doesn't even know the context of the story, then why is he even there? When Zac's not onscreen, everything is fine, but when he shows up, he immediately brings tension. He really suppresses the actors and doesn't allow them to showcase their improv talents and, quite frankly, wasn't even necessary. If Zac is like this in previous episodes and his goal is to annoy everyone, then he's doing a great job. Again, the show was entertaining; everyone was really great. I just think Zac needs to loosen up a bit and let the actors do their thing.
Zac is playing a character called The Driver, he is meant to be out of his depth with the gods. The tension between The Driver and gods was part of the story and was deliberate. He was also there in part to give new audience some context, but the meta part of the story is the gods did not care about that or want to bother with it, so got annoyed with it. Also yes in part the character is meant to be arrogant and annoying.
Driver is so annoying. He doesn’t need to but in every single time we can fill in the blanks give us some context clues then leave. But I love Markiplier in this he says this is a darkiplier and I believe him is not a dog a flyer this is a new ego named the god of night. I only watch the stream because of Markiplier I feel kind of bad
I can't stand Driver, he stomps all over every other character and ruins everyone's dramatic tension and reveals. He just stamers and makes the story grind to a halt, ironic for a character that's supposed to drive the story forward
