Holy shit, the Parry into Parry just blew my mind. Are you parrying again (actively clicking the button) or are you just parrying 2 attacks with one parry because of timing.?

you can even morph from kicks into stabs/swings and vice versa. did you know you can also combo with kicks/swings/stabs? successfully kicking someone who is actively holding up a shield will stun them and allow you to follow the kick up with a quick swing or stab.
@Harry Beaver Are you having problems with faints in particular? Chamber your opponent's attacks and kick them in their face whenever you like (kicks counter pretty much every move) and it should be the deal. You can also try using a fast weapon so you can literally slash through their mind games. Faints are not a problem, really. There is nothing more satisfying than punishing a guy when he's gone for the faint. A shield can be really effective as well
wohoo new video :D. i think i know most of this but im still shit against good players xD. i think the most important is to able to read attacks, and how to use effective controls. i know some people that have each attack assigned on a key. but you should be an octopus to be able to play. next video how to be an octopus, or how to be a trix :D. good music choice :).
It requires a lot of dexterity. Or a mouse with side buttons. If you have them, the game actually puts an upwards attack on it, so you can use it just by clicking you thumb on the side of the mouse.

Iove saving team mates with a clash as an enemy is charging for a blind strike. Its the most satisfying feeling. Pls cover clash some day even though its pretty basic it has a lot of use for 1 v x
You produce really great content, this guide & video follow that same exact trend. Feedback: When explaining a certain movement or technique, I believe it would be more useful to explicitly show (on screen) or say/write the exact inputs you are executing, EVEN if it was previously explain/mentioned in other videos. It takes longer for our brains to process written/spoken words, visual inputs would allow your audience to focus on what you are saying and at the same time follow exactly what it is telegraphed on screen, through key/mouse presses. Me 1 min into the game: Charging toward enemy base with my shining knight Me 1.05 min into the game: swings the sword and miss Me 1.10 min into the game: gets my hand cut off, dies in dirt Me 1.5 min into the game: Lets pick huntsman and stay away from battlefield.

It's not called "For Honor", it's called "Mordhau", which aside from being a killing move, means "Murderpunch" if translated literally. Sooo.... :D Also, picking your fights is a thing, and you can't be prepared for anything.
You gotta put in over well over 100 hours to even begin to get good. This game is so hard if you take a few days off then come back you will notice everyone will have gotten better than you in those few days. Lol its frustrating but still fun.

looks like the estoc or long sword with a custom design on it, one of those designs that cost like 20,000 gold. i only know because I killed someone in game who had it and took it from them

you should do the dodge only challenge where you can only dodge or evade attacks for defence i.e no blocking, try to win a round of the battle royal gamemode

Parry kick stab kick stab. Avoid chamber contests, as the speed and stamina of the rapier will usually win out. Works a lot of the time as many rapier users are just stab spammers often accompanied by shields. There are probably better ways but this is what works for me.
Pretty sure it's called the "Baron" skin for the longsword. Only way you could get it is if you backed the game up i'm pretty sure... so if you don't have it now you wont ever
You can create a local game with bots and use it for practice. Use commands 'ToggleStamina' and 'ToggleDamage' to make it easier. Also you could slow time with 'Slomo x', where 1 is default, so you could start at 0.6 and gradually increase it once you feel confortable. Great way to practice, chambers morphs and other advanced moves.

Below 300 is basically beginner in any skill-based game, and I say that even though I have 280 hours on Chivalry and only 10 hours on Mordhau, so I'm not trying to be a snob or smth What I mean to say is: of course you have lots to learn if you've only played 250 hours in such a skill-based game. It's the reason why, by watching two people playing, you can easily tell who's the one with 200~ hours and who's got over 1000 hours

The reading hand made me remember the line Flint said to Silver when learning how to swordfight. Never look into your oponente eyes or you'll get killed. Always look the hand holding the sword, because the hand shows the past and the blade the future. Something like this.
since watching this video for the first time, i now have 1700 hours on the game and played competitively. in short, dont play this game, its really fun
Best tip i can give anybody. DONT FUCKING PLAY TILL THEY FIX THE GAME. They have a clear fucking hitreg going on atm, i have never, NEVER, had an issue like this and i have played every single day since release, yet the past 2 days guess what? I have almost every hit going right through the enemies and most blocks just straight up do not work, for what reason? I DONT FUCKING KNOW THE GAME IS BROKEN ATM, only game i have issue on, i play on 44 ping max on all severs, never spiking with no packet loss so its 100% not a me issue.
I don't understand, why is there a combo timing on the weapons that cannot combo ? And why can I do combo with Executionner Sword (I mean the hit timing works, I REALLY don't understand a lot of mechanics because they are really unclear...)

Amazing guide, but i dont understand why you do combo-feint-to-parry when you could just combo parry cancel. The feint key does not need to be hit you could just rightclick out of the combo'd attack
People gotta realize that hearing this stuff doesn't make it second nature. That only comes from doing it a lot. You will not watch this video and become a better player, but 500 hours in from now, you'll definitely be able to understand what this stuff is.

try doing a different attack right after you started one
While you wind up a slash you can change it to a stab, or vice versa.
Scroll wheel up, scroll wheel down. That's a morph. Any thrust turned into a slash or vise versa.
