    Great work nuno, other people say you can’t do this job without lifting the engine Out but you proved it can be done! ✅

      It can be done. No point take engine out for just a pump. No much space but can be done 😁

    More than sure your injectors are compromised. You need to bleed all the fuel system and have the tank cleaned as you have the retur pipe bringing all the dirt in back in the tank. Habe a fuel rail sensor replaced, and the rails too or very well cleaned. Then prime the fuel system and make sure you replace the fuel filter.

    How I have to prime the fuel system on the BMW N47 after reinstalling the HP fuel pump? Or can I simply crank over the engine? Thank you :)

    Do you need to lock up timing before removing the pump????

    • @axores20
      @axores20  3 месяца назад

      @@glenspence6016 hi. Not the timing. You need to insert the tool to keep the pump sprocket in place. Otherwise it can go loose and the chain will jump off. Then you need to remove the timing chain cover.

      @@axores20 hi thanks for the reply could you also help me with my next question? When i insert the tool then proceed to loosen the torque bolt hold the sprocket to the pump when the bolt meets the tool it begins to unwind the tool along with it! How do i keep the tool from spinning out along with the bolt? Many thanks.

    • @axores20
      @axores20  3 месяца назад

      @@glenspence6016 the tool spins because the engine is turning. Hold the alternator or crank pulley bolt/nut and undo the bolt from the pump anticlockwise. Bolt is very tight. So careful.
      Check my other videos. I believe it is one of the videos i am explaining this method 😊

      @@axores20 yes the engine did turn when i first cracked the bolt so i held the crank to counter this happening thats not my issue. My issue is that when i turn the bolt further out until it meets the tool the bolt is supposed to press against the tool and pop the sprocket from the pump shaft without turning the tool while doing so! However when i wind the bolt out it just begins to spin the tool out along with it? Could i just take the bolt out completely and then screw the tool in to hold the sprocket?

    Do you know what the mileage of this engine was ?

    If that regulator fails, will it stop working all together or partially.

    • @axores20
      @axores20  3 года назад

      If the regulator fails normally will not start. Check another video i got bmw 1 series how i did remove it. Make sure u remove all bolts, and use a flat screw driver between the pump and the engine wall to remove it.

    Thanks for the videos, Urgent advice required Nuno, I found metal filings in the HPFP, and the roller looks slightly shaved, I get 200bar of rail pressure, but engine (n47d20c) still does not start. I am not getting any pulse on injectors. Can you send me your contact number?
