Back in the good books with the misso as well. Winner winner!

Perfect timing bill, just looking to change the bathroom suite, all I need now is to watch how to change a toilet and bath, thanks Bill, you make it look so easy 👍
Everything in life is easy , it just takes a bit of knowledge, initiative and practice 👍
How'd you go Russ? I'm looking to do the same thing over the next few weeks.
@@Jim-yk9zw not even started yet Jim, 🤣 still working my way through other jobs. Wife says it's not a priority 🙄
@@Russ1007 Damn. I get it though. Everything in my life has been pushed right by few years so I hear you. Good luck getting the other half on board ✌️

As a tiler I love watching this guy and learning
Cheers Bill! Helped us through changing two vanities!!
Awesome presentation. Thanks

Great video Bill!
Phew Bill ,I have just done my en suite and fitted everything myself
and I have done the vanity the correct way you have just shown us !
Thanks Biil great video thumbs up :)
I told my wife I can do the ensuite for about $3000, she laughed saying more like $10,000 !
I gutted the ensuite myself, bought all new fittings and parts either on market place,eBay,gumtree and Bunnings.
Subcontracted the tiling and waterproofing for $2200
I Painted, Wallpapered and fitted the shower base, shower, toilet, mirror, vanity and new towel racks.
It came just over $3200 Whose laughing now ! It looks fabo and fresh,it all came together beautifully !
I am not a tradie, just someone who will have a go at anything plus a tight arse, who spend money HaHaHa
Thanks for sharing!

I love your videos. I hope you are going to make a whole lot more.
Great video, onya mate 💪
Fully Sick gunk from the pipe! You're a legend Bill.
👍👍👍
Good work
That looks ridiculously easy. 2 questions - 1) Do you just use a masonry drill bit to go through the wood and then tile? 2). What would happen if something went wrong with the mixer…would you need to break the silicon seals to remove the vanity top. Honestly I feel like I want to change mine now and you make it look easy - until I do it 😂😂. I once changed the vanity hose underneath as the old one split and water spewed everywhere - it was a chore and a half…but I didn’t need a plumber 😂😂. Would you consider doing another video of this sometime only because I missed a bit of the tap work with the head camera….OR…a great idea you could come and do mine and film it - we’re in Sydney metro too 😊. Your videos are honestly valuable to so many
Mate you nailed this. Thanks for the guide brother. Did you happen to have the vanity that you used in the video? Looks perfect for my bathroom. Cheers
@billshowto
Video idea: how to fix a sagging roof aircon vent (the 4-way Evaporative grille type). Probably a pretty easy one for you but something I haven’t done and wouldn’t mind knowing how 😅 (replacing the clips I think)
Great video thanks mate, only missing part was how you measured the main bottom drain hole.
I marked out the back location for the floor waste and measured the distance to the center of it ( in the video ). Simply transfer the measurements to the base and drill out. 👍👍
@@billshowto I did see that, just got a little lost, I’m looking at installing a couple of new vanities, just down want to drill the hole in the wrong spot. Thank mate, it’s good to have a Aussie DIY channel.
Big tip, when you unscrew the trap and stand up, don’t revert to muscle memory and tip it down the sink. I’ve only done this three times…
Lol , iv done that before 👍
Me too
As per usual, excellent video…can you do a video on cleaning the traps / pipes? Thanks.
Thankyou
You’re welcome 👍
Thank you. Very helpful. Did you drill into studs to ensure the cabinet stability?
Hey bill love your videos, about to remove my bathroom vanity - can I ask when I unscrew my water fittings do I need to cap them off or anything in case I need to turn the main water valve on from the outside? Asking because the reno is gonna be over a few days so it’s likely I’ll turn the water mains on and come back next day to resume work.
I’m not a plumber, and I couldn’t really see what you installed, but you are supposed to replace that old S trap with a P trap. S traps aren’t to code anymore. (Not sure if that’s USA only, or whatnot.)
Hey Bill,
Do you have a disconnecting and replacing a toilet video? I’ve had a look but I couldn’t see. I’m following your vanity steps next weekend 😂 eeeeek wish me luck!
I have a video on replacing the toilet cistern and seat but not the actual toilet bowl. I’ll have one in the future 👍
Did you use a diamond bit to drill into your tiles?
Hi bill! Have been studying this video for a few months now. Finally got a new (second hand) vanity but the pipe width seems about 2mm narrower than the original! Please help! Also today the hot water shower tap, no water is coming out! Any advice?
Love all your videos. Even being in a rental I say and watched you replace a kitchen for an hour knowing full well I won’t be doing it! Keep on keeping on!
Hi, the pvc pipes could be different as one may be standard pvc piping whilst the other is pressure pipe. As for the tap, could be that the tap washer has jammed against the seat. Replace the washer 👍
Sick bro. Was you just lucky that the trap fit with no cutting the pipe?
Thanks Bill. Does it hurt to put some silicone around waste or no need as seals will do the job. Thanks Bill
I wanted to ask that too , but I seen the clear silicon looking ring/washer and thought maybe that's how it's done now.
Do you need to worry about abspestos with something like this? Or shouldn't be any in the wall where you drill the holes?
In older properties the bathroom and kitchen could have asbestos in the walls, but not this one 👍
Would I be able to do this in a apartment?
Love your work Bill - do you service areas of Sydney? How do we find you?
Unfortunately, I don’t take on private work. Maybe in the future 👍
Hi Bill
Where’d ya buy that shifter?
Cheers mate
Bunnings 👍
I find that pop up wastes invariably fail, hence I steer clear of them.
I clean my family's sink pipes too...and I can't even stand the smell of my own...can't imagine someone else's stuff! Yuk lol
Im kind of shocked that the old vanity was in such good shape.
Unfortunately, it was water damaged in some sections 👍
I have the upmost respect for plumbers, the crap you guys have to go through.
shot Bill
*Bowl not deep enough.*
Can't see

Awesome video, Bill! This is super helpful and I love that it’s short and to the point- no dragging it out or any extra bs. I will start watching more of your videos 👍
👍👍👍
