Normally I watch the NLSS for the commentary and don't care much about the games and gameplay. However, Nidhogg 2 was very entertaining to watch as it was a pretty even match and it was somewhat wholesomely competetive, if that makes any sense.

The Catholic doctrine on the whole "to death do us part" is that in Heaven you are eternally praising God and you're not like hanging out with your dead loved ones. Somewhat saying we will be enlightened and exposed to God's true greatness in a way we can't understand on Earth and we won't want to do anything else but praise Him.
That is NOT what we sound like in Minnesota, lol. Also, not all hotdishes have tater-tots. Some have, pasta, or potatoes, or a variety of other things.
What happened to Nidhogg's art style? The minimalist, stick figures looked great. These weird, flash-game monstrosities... Not so much. All the environments and non-character stuff looks great though.

I kinda like how your murdered bits sort of build up on the stage after you die. You end up seeing parts of the stage become veritable charnel houses by the end of the match. It's weirdly gratifying. Like it's memorializing your struggle as you play. The fact that the weapons stay on the ground only adds to the chaos of the gameplay.
The art style is... Working very, very well for the environments, but the frankly way too comical characters are a miss... It's odd. If the characters were high def, but featureless, I think it would work a lot better.
Except the "war on drugs" can't be won cause it's failing miserably. The only way to beat it is to get rid of all illegal substances and make over-the-counter stuff less addictive, but so long as that makes people money they won't stop.
YES, NL recognizes the futility of the war on drugs. I think. He might not be exactly the MOST pro drug, but... at least he's not one of the idiots who think they're completely evil and can be successfully wiped out.
