I live in Japan and have the various handleless pans and snap-on handle. I LOVE it because they take up so much less space on the oven counter, and when you storage them, you can stack the pots and pans on top of/into one another, and just stick the handle in the drawer. The handle is super strong and thick, and it clamps really fucking tight. You clamp it and then turn a little lever (can turn it easily with your thumb) to tighten and secure the clamp even more, and not once have I ever thought it'd lose grip. It's 100% def the best kitchen invention ever!

I don't know about Korea but in Maryland there are 13-year cycle cicadas and 17-year cycle cicadas. They emerge by the billions and the noise they make at all hours is deafening. It sounds like you're living on an airplane tarmac.
They also don't eat anything after they emerge, they come out of the ground for the sole reason to breed and to die. They don't even have an oral cavity after they metamorphose into their final form, so Nick is wrong about that.
