  • It took me a year to complete this. Now it’s done! It’s a satisfying feeling, I’m super excited.

Awesome build, you make it look so easy. Thanks for sharing. Dave

I still have a lot to learn, I don’t do much weathering. Something to think about for the future…

I've not built my roundhouse yet. I've got the peco turntable, 12 stalls of Atlas and 4 of Faller. I plane 3-4 open stalls and a pass through to the backshop.

Thanks for this video and the previous build ones on this. We need to see you running some of the larger steamers, that fit, in and out of the roundhouse!

I have a lot of Con-Cor 4-6-4. They fit very tight. Anything bigger it’s a challenge. I should take some time to try bigger engines.

@@watchtrainsnow1099 I am wondering about my Bachmann 4-8-4s, if they would fit onto the turntable.

I mean curious how to hook it up wires so I can get her on the turntable because I want to be able to just cranky. I don’t really feel like I am over it. I just wanna know how that ad wires for DCC and on DCC on that turntable if it’s a red black wire post because I can’t find like a Kato turntable thing for a HO

You can wire it just like regular track.

Curious if you've ever motorized your Atlas turntable? And if so, were you able to find a way to get quieter operation?
Incidentally, my longest loco that fits is a Bachmann 2-8-4 Berkshire, but only after modifying the design of the turning housing.

You know, to be honest, since it’s been completed, I have not used it much. I do like running trains around it. It’s awesome as scenery!

Sweet share, can't wait to get my set up going. Just got a turntable but now I know I need a roundhouse too

Hi, what are the colors you used to paint all the parts? Thanks.

I wish I could be more useful. These are leftover paint can I had lying around my garage. They are old, maybe no longer in production… dark green, oxyde red, and primer gray.

The round house looks great. Do you have any plans for weathering it down the road?

May be, I spend all my time in engines, so weathering building is on the back burner.
