For me i'll be like:
Easy: Easy, but not that much.
Normal: Hard, but playable with practice.
Hard: I'll probably need a lot of practice to play it, 2 weeks or more.

Dude i can just barely play the medium level without the slap...
Then i saw the hard level and i was like

Slapping is one of those techniques where once you get it for one song, even an easy one, you kinda get it for life. Of course you still need to practice it, but it sorta just clicks and then your fingers know when to hit the strings on every song, and it requires little thought, at least that's how it is to me. I recommend picking an easier song first to learn the slap thing with, then you'll probably nail it on this one. I'm still trying to learn to do the percussive bass thump thing some guitarist do as they play. Its mega hard.

It just amazes me how fingerstyle guitarists can play guitar and bass at the same time on the same instrument. Incredible

I guess if you've only played piano, the best way to visualize it is like playing a song, but you're only allowed to use your left hand, and the bass part has to be done with the full chords.

I have ‘played’ guitar for about 9 years now. Yet I am terrible because I was lazy and I lost my love for guitar some time ago. But this cover has reminded me how much I love guitar and so I will get a classical guitar ASAP and begin relearning the basics with no ego. The ‘hard’ difficulty is my current long term goal. Thank you for the inspiration Lucas!

He instead plays "Eb - E" at the end, where the second to the last note is a half-step "too low." If it were "too high," it would've been an F.

Fer Acedo the guitar is from brazilian guitar maker Samuel carvalho! Im not using amplification in my videos, however I use EQ, Compression and reverb on the audio
Videos like this are done by recording it and then filming along with a pre-recorded track. That's how he gets the camera angles and the sound of the close-micing. It's a great video, great recording, good editing, good studio work. But it's meant to be more of a film, and not a live performance.

I had to go check it out. To be honest, I thing the sungha Jung version would be slightly easier to learn. This one has such crazy tuplet syncopation.

Thank you! I am trained as a classical guitarist but I studied and learned jazz on my own. I began the jazz thing by learning and studying Jazz Manouche by guitar legend Django Reinhardt.
It reminds me of Lenny Breau, an old 50s Jazz/flamenco player.

Beautiful arrangement of a beautiful song. When you started the "Intermediate" the thought in my head was, "Okay, I could woodshop that for a month or so and mostly get it" Then you played the "Hard" version and my thought was, "Okay, now you're just showing off" Wonderful playing.
