probably because an AI was used to isolate the guitar, if you listen to the beginning you"ll notice that the audio is normal, but after the first repetition of the song's riff the sound becomes strange and compressed, the same thing happens if you listen to the come as you are guitar track.

Why is the sound so compressed? Is it like that on the album and you don’t notice it because of the vocals etc?
I don't compress isolations myself unless really needed ; so it's either compressed in the original or RUclips messed with the audio.

The masters for Lithium have unfortunately been lost/destroyed in the UMG fire of 2008 I believe, so I don't think we'll ever hear the original
