You have really changed my mind about the M5. It is an absolute animal and BMW know how to make an ultimate driving machine. The climate is changing and manufacturers have to do what they can to avoid fines. They don’t make these laws and regulations. So with that considered, this is a superb piece of engineering.
Really thankful for your transparent review. You gave us hope from your first test drive of the pre production from your heartful laughter. I knew the car was genuinely better than most people feedback without really interacting with the new M5. Thanks for the great feedback, as transparent as can be, sorry about your voice, we still heard you and the video did capture how fast the car is and how capable, impressive 0-60 even with wheel spin
Friday night, Joe Achilles reviewing the new M5. It doesn't get much better than this, when it comes to RUclips car reviews. Hope your voice is back to full working order. A hybrid 2.5 tonnes M5. The world has definitely changed, and it feels like l we ain't seen nothing yet
What an incredible and beautiful machine! Love the way it looks and that gray color combined with the black wheels. It pulls to 300+ kmh with ease, and seems like it's so stable and comfortable at the same time. I can't imagine it's potential with a tune and what it will be able to do. BMW did a phenomenal job.
Bmw claims 3.5 sec 😂😂 does 3.1 on road surface. Bmw really be trolling. AutoTopNL also just got a 60-130 faster then the old m5 comp and on his leaderboard faster then a 800hp modified audi rs6 .. this thing is nuts. So much for all the slower jokes. I knew they would look dumb. Once again people.. never trust bmw HP or 0-60 times.
These are alr doing same if not better times than f90 at its weight. S68 has already miles better than s63, these are going to fly when tuning is available.
Great review Joe, I could only imagine the levels of disappointment if M Division had been forced to use an engine based on the B48 in the G9x like Merc AMG did with the C63. Us BMW fans need to be thankful the S68 is still sold, because it's days are probably numbered. As for my take on the M5, like the Audi RS6 it is too large for where I live so I am content with my M3 Touring. Looking forward to watching your M5 Touring review tomorrow.
The V10 is my dream M5 despite its flaws but this is awesome as well. I even love the look. 3.12secs nearly half a second off BMW's claim!! Great vid as always. Get well soon mate 👍🏼

The M5 has never been light in comparison to the cars of its time, and in general, cars are heavier today than 20 years ago. @@JoeAchilles1 I like the looks of the new m5 but 500 kilo's extra and an electric mode that nobody is ever gonna use is pointless. The whole hybrid system also makes the car more unreliable. The exhaust is quieter than a 3 cylinder golf.
