I have the same babylock coverstitch machine, is this binder the babylock brand or another one - i'm looking at getting the single fold one but not sure what to search for
Thank you very much for thIs one. I like that you leave in the part which needs adjustment - helps me to better understand the ins and out of the binder attachment. Do you have any experience in using ready-made binding which is already folded? Can e.g. a pre-folded binder measuring 20 mm in width be fed through the 10 mm binder attachment without folding again?
Glad you like my mistake, I had considered cutting it but then figured what the heck. I am not perfect no need to pretend. I have put purchased woven bias tape in my binder, yes it works. I decided to set up my binder as a raw edge to do that. I made a video on converting a double fold to that...
Great video, very interesting and informative. Thank you 😊 P.s I notice underneath your binder there seems to be blue plastic, is that a special plate for your machine? My binder seems to move around on my Brother coverstitch unless I screw it down very tightly, then I find it almost impossible to remove!
This was a piece that came with an other attachment. I find it useful as it helps bring the binder up a bit. The foot plate of the machine is higher then the bed - thus without this kind of spacer I would also have to crank down the screws more. I would recommend getting two nylon washers for your machine. Nylon simply because of scratches...normal metal would work just as well. Place them between binder and bed.
Thanks so much! What a great video.
Thank you, your videos are great.

I believe that they only sell double fold original. However if you watch my paper hack video you know how to deal with that

Thanks - oh yes of course the “double paper hack” makes sense for store bought binding. I thought I would also try it with fold-over elastic.
Hey 👋 I work with licra how I stretch the trim
I can not give 100% reliable suggestions for lucrative. It depends on the quantity. In general the binder does the stretching for you.
