The government had stopped the import of foreign snacks for about 6-7 months and only recently lifted the ban. Lay's chips, kurkure etc were banned from being imported into the company and that's when Nepali companies started taking over the market with similar products. The first snack you had was non existent about 6 months ago but now it's everywhere and the same goes for a lot of other junk food items.
Did I just watch this approx 1 hr video on working Monday evening pausing my WORK, just to see this adorable, cute man exploring the places wholeheartedly and enjoying the local food in THE most beautiful way? YES! Do I regret it ? NOPE!!! Would I do it again? ANYTIME!!! p.s. Dear Max, did someone ever say to you that you are just so freaking CUTE????
I hardly leave comment in youtube. Max, your video is damn awesome. Its been two years away from home, your video is so real to give goosebumps of home vibe. I literally respect the way you respect people and support local. Being honest you are my current favourite. You words and the way you are leaving honest reviews, believe me I am still thinking how fast an hour video gone. Thank you so much Max. Keep going. Can't wait to see your upcoming videos. I try to look you in social media but can't fine you.
That guy selling chai on the streets of baneshowor is the real hustler max , i used to live around there and used too see that guy everyday atleast 2 times , glad u helped a real hustler 💯
Hi Max. Thank you very much for your love and support for my country Nepal; I really appreciate it. I find your videos very interesting, you enjoy our culture, the foods and helping needy people. What a kind heart you have Max. It means a lot to us and our country that the outside world now knows a lot about Nepal, what it has to offer, and why people should visit this country. Keep loving and supporting Nepal Tourism. Thank you again and Namaste! -Bijay, Sydney❤
Its been 7 years I have not been to nepal .I was travelling to Nepal through your videos..thank you for all the explore..thank you for ur support namaste
I grew up near baneshwor area and always used to wonder what the inside of Dwarika would look like whenever i passed through those streets , i am very grateful max that i got to see it though you!
My best guess is Max was an Indian in his past life, the way he enjoys the sweets, craves for Tea/Chai, the puri chole, and he actually eats with his hands and appreciates the locals so much, I really don't know what else to say about this young man, nice person, Thank you Max :)
FYI, Khata is originally a Tibetan ceremonial scarf. It is mainly use for the welcome ceremonies during some important events and weddings. In America and Europe u have beautiful culture of giving flowers for greetings and we Tibetan use khata for greetings.
Your vibe is so amazing! I would feel so out of place being a minority, but you are so friendly with every single person you encounter, you seem like a really good kind hearted person. Love seeing your subs grow, you are deff one of a kind =)
Damn Man you are just awesome brother.I liked the way you helped the boy selling tea with 2000. God is watching your deeds Max. Obviously he will blessed you more than you helped other. Lots of love 💖💖💕💕 from Nepal. You are just winning our hearts.

Everytime I get ready for some food, yt recommends me your videos and I end up enjoying the delicious food you’re having vicariously while I’m sipping on some hot tea. Then I look at my own plate and get disappointed 😂😂😂
Welcome to Nepal 🇳🇵 and nice to see you exploring rural life of Nepal. Love your kind nature towards locals. Highly addictive, waiting for more. Have a safe travels ❤️.
I like the way you explored Nepal and architecture and felt amazed when you were pronouncing Nepali food names like jhol Momo, Sel roti, aloo, and all that. I appreciate what you've done, and if you want to explore more new things, you can visit Kirtipur for Newari cousin.
Dude is the most extroverted person I've ever seen - well, at least on social media. As someone who's a total recluse, I envy his ability to mingle around easily, that too in a foreign land.
12:31 Bagh Chal Nepalese game. In Tamil we call Aadu Puli Aattam. Great Indian / Nepali game on the brink of extinction. Hats off to hotel for promoting it.
Great choice, Doda burfi. I recently chanced upon it after a Nepali friend of mine introduced it to me here in Austin, TX. I found it in Chennai last time I went down and ate it. My most favorite dessert of all time is Jalebi. My mom used to eat a lot of Jalebi when she was pregnant with me, she told me once. Enjoy your trips. Best wishes, a Chennaiite from Austin TX.
If you had the steam momo with jhol sauce, you had a delicious combination of flavours! The jhol 'aachar' typically includes hog plum, which gives a delightful sourness to the sauce. However, jhol momo is something slightly different; it is served in a bowl with a hot soup base and the momo itself.
I watched your all series and you are down to earth man, You know the Darwin theory of survival of the fittest very correctly. I also watched another chanel mostly dedicated to Viatnam. Last thing is I am from Nepal Lived in Arkansas. US state.
the kha-ta is a Tibetan scarf presented to another person as a sign of welcome or departure to signify the purity of your good intentions towards the other person. It is usually white in color but may also be gold. you will find them in other colors these days but that is due to the easy availability of dyes. otherwise traditionally they were white due to how expensive natural dyes were to procure back in tibet. Although I find it weird that with the ridiculous money that is being charged for a night, the reception that guests receive is not up to par for what is essentially a luxury boutique hotel.
Amagingg vlog ❤️ local food appreciation and you enjoying in there and supporting locals ❤️❤️.. I felt I just went to Nepal for like 55 mins and it's sooo refreshing .. Max you are so amazing ✨
This is the corrupt hotel, they built hotel in someone’s land, court declared several times to give land to its original owner but they never did. Original owner have been fighting to get land back from 50 years

That's a good thing , Indigenous snacks and food is always best
@@Peacifier can't agree more
imo the best thing to come out of those bans were these spicy flavored snacks
