- In this video, I share my first impressions of staying at the Fish Tail Lodge in Pokhara, Nepal! You'll get an exclusive peek into the beautiful resort nestled in the heart of the Himalayas. From the moment I arrived, I was struck not only by the stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range and the serene Phewa Lake, but the incredible hospitality by the staff. The Fish Tail Lodge's unique location on a peninsula offers guests a truly unique experience surrounded by water on three sides. During my stay, I explored the resort's spacious grounds, including the lush gardens and inviting swimming pool. I also had the chance to try out some of the on-site activities like kayaking. Overall, my impressions of the Fish Tail Lodge were overwhelmingly positive, and I can't to share it with you in this vlog.

This is a hotel/lodge where a lot of Head of State, including US President and British Royal family, have stayed a few decades ago. This hotel has always been a pride of Pokhara, and I am lucky to have spent a few nights there.

I've been in the US for almost a year now and I was having nostalgia of home. Thanks for putting this video out. Born and Bought up in Kathmandu but Pokhara will always be dear to me in my heart. It has been a gateway to most of the amazing Trekking routes.
At 23:52 Sagun says it just started raining as you've arrived. You are lucky to the Fish Tail Lodge. That's a common belief or even superstition you might say. Rain is regarded as a Good Luck in Nepal and hence her words. Indeed, you would be for in 2 months over 400K peps have watched this video. The lodge must have gained amazing marketing thanks to you!

In 1980 when I was kid , group of our Tibetan kids and boys are performed Tibetan Folk dance at that hotel and I still remembered that little ferry or boat pull by one Tibetan Guy and he is working there,

You should experience 'Mount Everest'. The scenery is incredible, and you're surrounded by some of the highest peaks on Earth. The views are breathtaking, yet the journey to get there is challenging. You can see some of the most beautiful scenery if you get a permit and go with an experienced guide.

Try going for homestays in remote/rural location like sirubari and ghandruk when in Nepal. You will get to experience local Nepalese culture with ethnic performances, food and actually live in a Nepalese household like a local. Definitely worth giving it a try
