I have tested a lot of Forza so call realistic settings and by far yours in my opinion is the best! I did, however, tune some settings to my liking but now my driving experience is a lot more realistic. The info I am receiving from the car and road is much more pronounced and adds the extra element Forza was missing in its racing, Thank you!
Thank you for the wheel settings in Forza. I tried them with my belt drive Fanatec CSW 2.5 - driving is now more realistic, I can feel when the car is going to lose it (I couldn't before). The only change I made was to reduce the FFB on the wheel itself. Enjoying Forza once again....
Really like the transition to load to chatter to slip and back, while retaining the pnuematic affect. the ratio of those is approaching "intuitive" ty.

The force feedback is pretty good in Forza Motorsport, better then I expected. I have a unsupported wheel, and it works as well as any of the sim titles I play in my opinion. Settings below others may have the same wheel.

Forza Motorsport FFB:
Force Feedback adjustment is very personal.. it depends on each person's feeling.. I'll leave my adjustments here.. I adjusted the steering wheel always following the telemetry graphs so as not to clip and lose information.. I tested it in all categories of cars so I didn't need to change the adjustment when changing cars.. If you need anything, I recommend changing the tuning of the car itself.. At the end of the tuning tab there is a specific adjustment for that car's steering wheel..

VIBRATION: 0
FORCE FEEDBACK: 125
SELF-ALIGNMENT: 50
MECHANICAL TRACE: 25
PNEUMATIC TRACK: 100
ASPHALT FEEL: 200
LOAD SENSITIVITY: 50
WHEEL DAMPING: 0
CENTER SPRING: 0
DYNAMIC DAMPING: 0
SENSITIVITY: 25
LINEARITY: 50
BRAKE OUTSIDE: 35 (adjustment to taste)
(I keep the rest of the settings as default)
Note: I recommend that when using Formula or Prototype cars, reduce the STEERING WHEEL LIMIT RANGE when tuning each car to 75% or 50% (adjustment available in the "TUNE CAR" tab)
Note2: installing tires, brakes and racing suspension make a lot of difference to the stability of the car..

I did a default reset on my settings by mistale, ended upp putting this instead! And the game is a whoöe new game! THANK YOU!! This setup is the best one ive tried by huge amounts! You really feel the car in a way requierd for good and most important fun racing! TY!!
for the inputs, name a profile when you save it. Then you have to click the drop and select that profile every time you launch.
So csw 2.5 here.

They actually work awesome with my Logitech G923. The only thing holding me back is the load sensitivity. Which is interesting cause I'm on a belt driven wheel not dd.

OK, 10 days later and i watched some other videos about wheel setting. May conclusion for G923 after a lot of trial: With G923, now i set everything to Zero! beside FF-Scale, Self-Steer-Alignment and Mech/Pneu Trail. Vibration / Road-Feel / Load-Sense on this wheel just gives some noisy, grindy feel in the wheel. However, driving this way i even get road-bump / curb feedback if they are pronounced enough.
FF 100, Self-Alling 100, Mech-Trail 135, Pneu-Trail 110 - that's all i set. - And it may be needed for some cars to set car specific FF Scale in car tune!
If you like Road Feel, Vibration etc, you need to reduce. Self-Steer / FF Scale or it will clip out in corners.

appreciate the video Kireth.... i do find your settings to be just a little too light, i get what you're trying to achieve, by not having overly heavy resistance, especially in cornering, but to me it seems to let go far to readily, like it's immediate when you're at the limit, instead of feeling that it's about to go over the limit it just falls off a cliff(the ffb) perhaps you could also share your pithouse settings? that may shed some light on why i can't get my head around these settings.
Yo! Interesting you don't have the graduation I have which is my main benefit with this setup, I'm running 100% ffb at 900 degrees in pit house on my r9

They have these bad descriptions, like "The lever arms length of the contact..." what are you talking about, Turn10??? :D :D :D Anyway anyone knows which setting is responsible in this game, where in FM7 it had this almost like gravity feel on wheel. It was not about wheel feel, but more how would your arms muscles react to increasing gravity, lets say its a long corner and you increase your speed, as you increase the gravitiy pull increases and you have to hold your boddy by holding on wheel. Its was great in FM7, but sadly my FM7 settings do not work in the newest FM game...

This is Crazy! the 488 ffb keeps getting better, problem is its still changing. the new R3 kit is the likely ticket with this title. have you talked to anyone using it. do you use the R9/CS w/native support. can you refer me to pithouse settings?

Other RUclipsrs all did the same. Forza devs should just go in an overhaul the entire ffb system they have, and also make the cars side less because god damn!

@@Kireth It works! The force feedback wasn’t working, due to a recent Xbox update.
However by contacting Brooks support they were able to give me a beta firmware to apply to the adapter (a Ras1ution 2) and now it’s all good.
It’s a disgrace they lock wheels to one console, like the average customer has room to have two full wheel and pedal setups lying around, but at least there’s a solution.
It’s really unfortunate how far you have to go to tune any wheel to this game to get a good feeling.
