The truth: forza motorspirt is the best simcade on a budget. It's way more competitive than gt7, and has more versatility. People are hating on it because it's the norm to do so As long as you're enjoying it screw what other people think. Ik I'm enjoying it
@@beasley_unborn6729 idk about competitive I did like 6 races and half of them I had people just send it into me spinning me out or they block like their live depends on it trying to force me off the track. I find it more fun than GT7 but it’s still the usual forza ram fest.
@@dbzcollector9963 Its definitely competitive. Have already had around 50 mp races and less than 5 even had 1 person that was purposefully ramming. My safety rating is pretty high though if your safety/skill rating is low then you will get paired with other noobs. Definitely nothing like the previous FMs. Ironically enough I've had to dodge more dirty drivers on GT7 this week than on FM.
Just want to thank you for covering this game and not succumbing to the norm of "forza bad gt good" sheep that creators automatically do to appease their fans This game is genuinely good. I am saving for the fanatec csl dd originally getting it for acc. But i cant wait to try it in fm because im really loving the game.
That is simwash and its an issue in this game, you can try to increase damper settings. But this is my biggest issue with forza. Its so hard to save a car on a wheel compared to real cars, or games like AC @ziomall94
Thanks, been looking for some good settings for a while and the moza videos from other guys didn't quite help me with my csl dd pro :D. Just one thing, the steering is very heavy with these settings. I wonder if it's normal since I read in the comments that it was supposed to be light. Am I doing it right? (I turned damping down to 20 afterwards but still quite heavy, need to use a lot of force to turn the wheel)
I'm using a McLaren gt3 v2 with DD Pro with 8NM and I don't have those tuning settings on my wheels only Sen, FFS, Nat.DPR and BRK For. Am I missing something or that's just how it is because it's a DD Pro? Thanks for the video.
Mine has all the settings he showed. They show up on the original GT steering wheel as well as the Porsche gt3 wheel I have. Have you tried updating it on a PC?
@@Boss-Possum oh I'll double check that. I bet you that's what it is. Thank you very much your help. I appreciate you going out of your way to help me. Thank you again.
Hi, Have just got my csl delivered today and have used your recommended settings which are great using Xbox series s I have a question which I hope you can help with do I need to change the settings in fanalab software or does the Xbox automatically configure the wheelbase many thanks in advance
You can do it in fanalab or on the wheel itself. Your wheel should have a button with a wrench or something like that on it that will pull up the settings on the wheel display and you can change it there without having to hook it up to a computer.
The beauty of a Fanatec setup is that you can make wheel FFB changes on the wheel itself using the tuning menu. Its different on most steering wheels but is generally acess with a combination of buttons or a small button.
@@77cmcdaniel no spanner on the Xbox version of the wheel so looks like cannot access setup I guess if I connect wheel to pc and make changes in fanalab this will only apply if using wheel on pc and when I connect back to Xbox nothing will be stored
These are the best settings I have found yet. Have only tried them with a D Class Golf R32 so far and it's night and day compared to the Umpteen others I have tried. Thanks a lot! Using a CSW V2.5 and it works great 😊
@rxw5520 yeah but apparently Forza isnt really made for tripple screens... When setting fov to like 170 as fov calculator suggests then game crashes and or the mouse isnt responding well...
900 on the wheel steering sensitivity does not match the visual wheel rotation in the car. Also this setup feels extremely light with little detail. That’s just how I feel as you did ask us to let you know. Not trying to put you down
I was very confident with my DD thanks to this set of settings, but the last update has changed the feeling. Let me know if someone else faced the same issue.
i just got a CSL DD 8nm so im not too familar with it. Why did you invert the force feedback and turn off acceleration and deceleration axis invert. When I to off acceleration invert my pedal just consently revs and inverting the force feedback makes the wheel really loose.
Inverting the wheel inverts the force feedback. If your car behaves normally with it off, don't worry about it. If your car behaves erratically when you turn the slightest amount, enable invert to fix it.
@@SimRacingSetups I'm series x, I don't even have the Invert option. What brake settings are you using? I'm a fanatec csl dd with loadcell...struggle with braking
Im a huge fan of your work. I only use your setups for all my games. For some strange reason this one did not do it for me. I’m used to all your wheel setting being sharp and drips this one feels dead I’m not sure why. I’m on a CSL DD 8nm on the Xbox series X. Hope I can find something better. Btw this games FF is awful. Absolutely zero feel of any curb
The settings in this video are terrible. Center Spring and Wheel Damping should be turned off, or only turned on minimally to avoid osculation when you let go of the wheel. In my opinion Load Sensitivity is the most important effect, I turn it up to 75. Then you want to lower Force Feedback Scale per-car (in the car tuning options) to avoid clipping for each car setup. Leave everything else default.
Great settings. As good as Ermz's settings are, I like these better. Upped my FFB strength to 100 on Fanatec DD pro GT 8nm. As others have said, there is still very little curb feeling. Overall, I'm having a blast with the game. Not sure why there's so many haters.
Finally so many other videos you follow their settings and it's like your wheel doesn't even have ffb steering so light.. big up bro 🤞
Finally someone who enjoys playing this game! So sick of content creators constantly complaining about something... great content!
Thanks! Loving it so far

That’s cool my man. You could try increasing the overall ffb, the road details or the mechanical and pneumatic trail scale 👍🏻
You need to change the steering sensivity on a per-car basis. GO to tune and the rightmost menu. There should be a steering setting.
@@KhazAlpyep thankfully I found that out a couple of days ago after watching a video where one guy mentioned it and it sorted it

Those settings are better than all the others I've tested but it still feels unnatural to me. So is Forza really optimized for wheels?

Yea. They improve the feel for me. I have the 5Nm wheel so had to increase the force feedback a bit to make it feel strong enough
