I love that view point there by the Chart house. They have a great happy hour. Your son did a super job and needs his own Sabot! Next off to the Islands? How long have you had the Catalina?
True, the Chart House view is fantastic. He's my grandson. You're right, he'd love a sabot! We owned one for years when I was growing up. I've owned Mojo for 15 years. Thanks for watching!
Thanks! It took about 5 and a half hours. It's been a very nice sail heading down each time I've done it. Coming back is usually against the wind though.
How do you prearrange a "Guest Slip" and how much does it cost? Are they available at the other Harbors you passed? What about Long Beach, San Pedro, Marina Del Rey?
Guest slips for Dana Point are run through dockwa.com available on the harbor website: themarinaatdanapoint.com/boat-slips-and-leasing . The 35' slip is $70 per night. Dana Point is undergoing a total rebuild now so the guest slips can only be reserved 30 days in advance. There may be even more changes coming as the rebuild progresses. Most harbors have some type of guest slip available but it varies. Newport Harbor has a limited amount of guest slips but they do have an anchorage that's easy to use. The Long Beach marinas have guest slips available. For any California harbor, I find it easiest to first look at their website and then calling for the most up to date information. Nice job Mike. I’m in Shoreline, LB. How long did it take you to get to Dana Point?
