My 1320 is from May ‘19. 2156 k miles. Took in for black screen/ backup cam issues. They worked out the bugs. This is for scavenger, please keep us not on FB notified about everything wit the 1320. Thanks bro!! Keep gappen them fords. All we can anyway going NA!!!
Holy shit you just saved my ass. I have an appt to do the Fca software Update for the recall tomorrow. I’d be freakin livid if drag mode ended up being disabled.
Yeah, if its all working fine for you definitely don't do it. I'm not sure how I'd handle it if Drag Mode got disabled either. If you need to go to the dealer for anything else just make sure they know not to do any kind of software update while its in there, especially since so many dealers don't even know what a 1320 is to begin with!
@@why2kmax yup, me too. I've had 2 recalls on my 2012 Avenger but I do all my own maintenance on all my vehicles so for years now I keep getting notices but just never have the time or reason to actually go in to the dealer for them.
Interesting! I went to go test drive one today, was fooling around with Drag Mode and it automatically changed it back to Normal. I had to fool around with the buttons a lot but then i didn't feel an automatic difference
I know some features get locked out too until you hit 500 miles. I don’t remember if I even tried drag mode until the 500 mile mark. I save that mode for the track normally too so I wasn’t really itching to throw it on at that time
Glad it helped, sucks its still an issue. It's still there on mine and I have no intention of ever letting a dealer try to fix it unless I'm 1000% sure they have the correct fix.
Luckily I haven't had the black screen of death yet. Honestly, I wish our cars weren't so tied in to the uconnect system, otherwise I'd just remove it all to save the weight and not even worry about it.

Yeah, I know of several people that do, and if it was bad thered be some kind of warning from the manufacturer.. But because of how the car "learns" and adapts the drag mode might not be as aggressive if it sees a lot of street driving. That's when people pull fuses or disconnect the battery to reset the cars "memory".
I won't do the update on my 2019 1320 yet the transbrake option won't work and they tried doing a soft reset and lost all drag options and I fixed it, yet have not fixed the transbrake issue yet won't let the dealers in my area maul the car as they're clueless on how to fix it and know zero about 1320's so I will leave well enough alone as I never use the option anyways.
I don't know of any statement, but I do know several people have gone back and forth with their dealers and also communicated directly with Dodge reps regarding this issue so they are aware. How high up are they aware? that I don't know.
Thats good. I've heard horror stories of dealerships having to completely replace the head units, and then getting the wrong ones because they keep ordering ones setup for regular scat packs.

Apparently, the Demon and HellCat is different from the 1320.
That's interesting, like you said my 2020 Charger Scat Pack has the SRT pages, this is good infomation for 1320 owners.
My 2019 1320 does not have this glitch. I did take it in for the recall but luckily was told mine didnt need it.

Yes the drag mode in the 2020 still says norm. When in drag mode. Because I have a 1320 2020

I was told that it is in Drag Mode. It just doesn't show on the display. It does shift like Drag Mode.
Yup, I have no doubt its in Drag Mode on mine, but not seeing it on that screen isn't good for my OCD lol.

Yeah, I'd give up transbrake too until an actual fix comes out as long as the other drag features work.
