My rabbits love Small Pet Select and Science Selective best. I wasn't aware of all these other options. I was really surprised to see some with fruits so I definitely agree those are better as a treat only.

I've realised Oxbow put molasses in their food now I think they have just done it recently. Its such a shame as otherwise it is a great food. I am now giving my young bunny Science selective junior and my adult bunny is finishing of his old food.

im not 100% sure but i think oxbow essentials has molasses however oxbow garden select and oxbow organic bounty do not have molasses in them. they can a bit more pricy and hard to find but my rabbits love it.

Did you try the Science Selective House Rabbit Pellets? My rabbit is almost 6 months and I not sure the best between the Adult and House pellets.

Hi, Tiffany! Thanks for watching and for posting your comment! I haven't tried the House Pellets - only the Adult and Jr. Pellets from Science Selective. I can say that if you have a younger rabbit, the Science Selective Jr. is a good choice, based on my experience. (Our rabbit, Apollo, was about 5-6 months old when I filmed this video, and he loved it. As rabbits get older you'll have to adjust their diet to accommodate their nutritional needs. But, when their younger, definitely stick with pellets that are specially formulated to give young rabbits the correct balance that they need to grow. Thanks again for watching, and please let me know if there is more info that I can give you.

@@wereallaboutpets2201 hello! I just rescued a rabbit, she is over a year old. She was very neglected and has no fur on her tail. I got her an hour ago since her owner said if i do not get her by today she was going to a meat farm. Shes malnourished and very skinny. Can i have some advice? She was a very spur of the moment rescue.

Hello Michael! I've had a bunny for almost 2 years now and I have rarely fed him pellets, I just recently bought him some to see if he likes them, they're the brand RedKite Maskottchen, I was hoping i'd get your thoughts on it, do you think the ingredients in them are safe for me to feed them to him?

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT VIDEO!!! We are starting to raise Flemish Giant Rabbits (15-25 lbs) for meat (for our consumption and also to sell), pelts, liquid, & solid fertilizer (for us and to sell. NOTHING BETTER FOR GARDENS!!!). Quality and quantity of feed are essential for us. But I need to find a supplier that sells some of your "BEST PICKS" in 40-100lb bags. BIG rabbits eat HUGE AMOUNTS!!! Your videos are very good in instructions. I shall keep watching and learning. GOD Bless.

Yes, rabbits do eat a lot but, keep in mind that pellets should not be given as the majority of a rabbits diet. The majority of a rabbits diet is hay. A healthy rabbit needs constant access to hay. They should get a bit of greens everyday and should have no more than 1/4 cup of pellets per 5 pounds. Hope this helped!

@@chloeliewer9805 I agree with you about pellets. My rabbits also get 2 kinds of fodder twice a week and a LOT of Timothy Orchard Grass and a small amount of Timothy Hay every day. And my farm herd protection dogs do chase them 3-4 times a week to promote muscle growth (as I stand there to supervise). Both animals know they are just playing tag. The rabbits are almost as big as the dogs are. No animal gets hurt!!! Just playtime. Thanks for your comments.

they actually can, ones without too much sugar. grains are acceptable if you know which ones you give to your rabbit.
