When I have my bunnies out to play I give them cilantro to have, and they binkie all the time. Also I got a healthier diet myself, from having constant lettuce and fresh fruits for them. So in the morning I would cut up some strawberries for my yogurt, and put the strawberries in their room so they have a little treasure hunt for fun.

Thank u so much for this I give my rabbits so much stuff they love apples, bananas, strawberries, mint, fig leaves, cabbage leaves, they eat blueberries, broccoli, spinach, carrots, celery, cilantro, pellets, grass, French weed, we have some plants here on my island that they love I don't know most the names but they love them a lot... I put a table spoon of apple cider vinegar in 1 gallon of water once per month, I'm just waiting on my brother to help me build more cages so everyone can have space to move about

i usually give my rabbit a small bowl (her pellet bowl) full of spinach, with some bokchoy, carrot and sometimes i chuck in a little banana or some fruits she loves. shes very excited when she sees the greens. we give her greens from the garden like kale, parsley, leaves off of like cauliflower, broccoli or carrot and betreet leaves. but we dont feed her beetroot.

Great advice! One thing you did not mention is artichokes. NEVER feed a rabbit artichokes. Uncooked artichokes are mildly poisonous to humans, and very poisonous to rabbits. The reason I mention this is I have seen websites that list artichokes as safe for bunnies. Not true.

Hi! I am a new rabbit owner of a 1 month old albino female! Just like yours, super cute. I do have a question for you, I noticed that when I gave my rabbit the leafy greens you mentioned that were great for rabbits, I noticed a dramatic change in her urine. It turned light yellow, to orangish brown. Going to call the vet as well, but I would love to hear your advice and feedback! Your video was very informative, thank you so much for sharing!

    • @randomaussie3905

I don't own a rabbit, but I'm fascinated with educating myself about them should I own one someday. You say only the fruit of the tomato is acceptable to give them, not the leaves or the stem. Does this include everything inside the tomato as a whole, or does something need to be removed, such as the seeds, or is that perfectly fine for them to eat?

I was wondering if you knew about mulberry leaves and branch cuttings. I have read it as an ok item online but not sure what sources to trust. We have SO many mulberry trees on our property, it'd be nice to have it as an option for some stick to chew on and leaves to eat

    • @TheBunnyLady

Yup, mulberry is non-toxic for rabbits so they can have the leaves and cuttings. Just be sure no dangerous chemicals or pesticides have been used on them.

Not sure if you still need an answer but if you do, they should have unlimited hay at all times! This helps with their digestion and if they don’t have hay it could lead to GI stasis.

Do you have any insight into grape leaves as good veggie (or not) for rabbits? There is an abundance of these leafy greens at the place where I often take care of a wonderful rabbit while the owners are gone. I do this along with mint and cilantro for her fresh veggies. Timothy hay being the 24/7 staple of course.

    • @TheBunnyLady
