I always shoot in D-Log M and color grade in post. It's more fun that way. Also DJI announced their FOV Boost lens but it's not available yet. Let's hope this allows for the widest possible view with the best stabilization.
For the FOV boost option you need to buy the new lens when available it gives a 182 degrees. There are a few test online and looks decent but it’s all extra $
Clint you just dropped a ton of what I love about your channel in this video, wow! This is tough! Starting with audio. Both the DJI mic, built in, and GoPro all sound great, the Wireless DJI has the edge for voice, and oddly enough I thought it sounded incredible on one of your latest videos. One thing I did not realize was the fullness with the built in mics, foam screen on, it sounds fuller, and the stereo spread is more apparent. Do you EQ any of the bike audio? If you don't, then the DJI wireless sounds more, bandwith EQ focused on the voice, and the built in, just big, full, and controlled with the foam. The GoPro seems to be the faster way, less time in post to a great result, the DJI seems like a slower result with more time in post for a superior result. This really is something I will be rewatching many times, I hope you do some more like this, those mic videos back a few years ago were the best to date on the topic, this just adds on to it, thanks for sharing this, and you really did a great job I can't shut up about,!
Thanks. Really appreciate the feedback. Yes, I do agree. There is more bass and fuller sound without the DJI mic. Eventually, I will test the Insta360 ace pro 2. That could be the perfect balance. At least I’m hoping!
I do not get those shakes on my videos in bright light. May be its because the trails were in the shade. But yeah in your videos gopro stabilization was better.
Does gopro still overheat and loose footage still or decide it just doesn't want to work? I haven't really heard that about other action cams. I had and older model of the gopro and it would do that. Unless gopro has fix that problem completely it's and absolute no for me. I'm not saying I buy a dji.
I’ve not had any of those issues with the last few GoPros. But I always use mine either while riding or short vlog segments. I haven’t used it stationary I the sub for an extended period of time.
I agree GoPro stabilization is best. Appreciate your honest unbiased thoughts as always.

Yeah, I hope that lens will solve having to choose between good stabilization and a wide FOV.

@ you're welcome! That could be the game changer, looking forward to it!
GoPro - the comparison of stabilization says it all. Audio is great but the shaking is rough.
Spot on go pro video better dji audio a bit better.
GoPro has overall better picture and the audio was fine however the external mic with the DJI was much better audio.
