- Porsche owners rolled into Classic Car Club Manhattan from around the NYC area, with an original RUF BTR 3.4 930 turbo, a real, Euro-spec 911 slant nose, a first-gen 928, a couple of RSR tributes, and a very special Cayenne (seriously).
This was the AFTER/DRIVE we shot live at the Classic Car Club Manhattan's Porsche-themed "Gears on the Piers" event.

Yes! AFTER/DRIVE is some of the best content on the internet. Please do more with MCC, especially the 'what would you buy' challenges.
Thank you for having me on. Great gathering with absolutely awesome people!
Yesterday i found my old car magazine. From 2006, 13 years old.
Lots of buy/sell ads in it.
Its unbelivable, how much does the used 911 prices have changed in this period.
Great video, thanks guys. Some lovely unique 911's and some cool owners too! Loving the 928's too :-)
Spin, make /DRIVE great again❗

Slatnose is the one 😎
Of course, the Porsche 911 deserves attention because of its history and not least what it has achieved in racing, but in the range of historical Porsche models there are also other interesting models that deserve to be in the spotlight. 356 are obvious, but 914, 924/931, 944, 928 and 968 are also interesting models today. They no longer build such cars and in this context they are in many ways more interesting than the 911, which has almost become too popular. The bubble will burst and this is sad for those of us who just love these Porsche models and don't think about what they are worth in dollars.
We were hoping more of those guys would have shown up. We would have put literally any 924 on.
@@drive i live in the city as well and have 928s4 mint low miles. next time will show up.
Porsche 911 old 👍👍💜
09:20 = It looks(the green color) close to the 1989 Panamericana concept
I have an 88 S4 and love my 928. I wish there was someone else was there representing the passion for 928s. He was too chillaxed. great video nonetheless
The 928 is one of my all time favorites, it doesn't get enough respect.
I think it's because there so advanced.I loved my old 88 S4 Gp white.
@@kevinbodman1011 I agree...but it seemed he had no clue. Mine is Diamond Blue Metallic.
In US probably the EU specs 930 turbos the most desirable pieces cause they are stronger than the US version plus they don’t have the ugly rear bumper with the big rubber blocks on it although anybody can change them easily onto the Europian. If you have a 930 turbo with a real RUF tuning what is built in Germany it does hold up the value pretty well cause RUF is the only company who knows the most about Porsche cars and they making them even better. You’ll still have the same reliability like before just it’s becomes stronger and faster. If i had a 930 turbo i would not allow to any other company to touch it just only to RUF.
I wanna see a Gemballa 911...damn sic!!
Great to see Chuck Mangione here...he's looking really healthy. 9:24
I laughed way too hard at that.
2 guys, 1 mike...
14:08 Bill Cosby made a movie in the 90's with a 928...
Is RSR Tribute just another word for Fake RSR?
Sometimes fakes are as good, or better than originals. But not those made by hipsters.
Only 15 k views wtf
