Angel eyes are no longer a thing. BMW said, that they are going away from angel eyes, because a lot of other brands started to use simmiliar design. Thats why now we see "stripes" etc in the lights. P.S. I can't say that i like the idea, but i understand the mind behind that.

And one day they all got together, looked at the model of this misunderstanding and said in unison - “Perhaps this is ideal, it couldn’t be better!”
I can’t believe BMW is proud of that interior. Never thought I would say a BMW interior looked cheap… There is a difference between incorporating cutting edge technology into a vehicle and taking advantage of these advancements to charge more for less. It’s all about the touch points, the knobs, the buttons, the veneers, the metal accents that truly make you feel that you bought something special. I don’t see how this is any different from Kia.
My opinion is that these new front designs of the M series like the XM, the X2 and X3 do not have the imprint of Western taste, perhaps they will be successful in Southeast Asia but not here.

Everybody was on Bangle's a$$ in the early 2000s...yet he made some of the timeless models. But this....this looks like some cheap/fake chinese cars. I remember seeing a 2004 5 series brand new for the first time. It looked like a spaceship...had nothing to do with how it looked in pictures. Nowadays you look the other way when you see a 5 series going by.
Some people buy cars for the looks, some for the driving experience. So far, the most balanced car I’ve owned is the 340xi. The car is like a cameleon, depending on the settings: it can be comfy but it can also be fun to drive and sporty. Are there better looking cars than the 340xi? Surely are. But I won’t change it. If the new X3 drives like the 340, I just don’t care how it looks.
As a 2022 g01 owner, I really think the new interior is a terrible downgrade. Taking out everything, throwing in a bunch of random led strips like a kitschy RGB PC case. There is no luxury and usability left. I'm seriously sad about where interiors are going. At least it looks OK from the outside. Glad it is not hideous like x2 f.e.
I love the new look. I really like the headlights, wheels, and quad tailpipes. The curved display and ambient lighting are an acquired taste but are very nice. It seems like a worthy successor to the M40i and a clear transition model from ICE to electric.
Need to see in person before making my verdict. My lease is up on my 2022 X3 M40i and I’m not sure how to go. If I don’t like the look, decision: Buy/lease a 2024 fully loaded X3 M40, buy an X2 M35i since I’m thinking smaller car, or cross shop (2024 Macan). Or go the sedan route and get an RS3. Or coupe - M240 i Xdrive and get a used Subie for outdoor activities that I don’t care about messing up with dirty dogs and gear.

3 Series, 8 Series, X5 and Z4 are maybe the last good looking models...I also like the 2 Series Coupe (not too much in its M version), but I get that most people don't like it. Everything else is ruined. Even the interiors are kinda ugly.
I am fan of BMW and had owned one. Now the design is getting, sorry to say, hideous...I think BMW designers are having challenges designing new generations of models while still need to incorporate the double kidney grille.. This may limit freedom and creativity to come up with a totally different but more elegant design. Just my point of view.

Now the design is getting, sorry to say, hideous...I think BMW designers are having challenges designing new generations of models while still need to incorporate the double kidney grille.. This may limit freedom and creativity to come up with a totally different but more elegant design. Just my point of view.
First they came for the M3, and I did not speak out-because I did not have an M3.
Then they came for the 7 Series, and I did not speak out-because I did not have a 7 Series.
Then they came for the X1, and I did not speak out-because I did not have an X1.
Then they came for the X3-and there was no one left to speak for me.
This is such a departure for a car that is supposed to be the ultimate driving machine. It’s the ultimate techno mess. I’m so glad I just purchased a 2024 M40i. The 2025 version is a complete mess, inside and out.
I remember the days BMW used to look manly/mean looking and menacing on the road, their design is completely different and normal traffic vehicles now
Now i am more sure to buy x3 facelift 2021-23 then this ugly new BMW> I will probably save 40-50k eur.
