- In this video I'll walk you through my Marji Zip Bag pattern. I've even included some bonus content and tips for making this bag with cotton, different options for adding the D rings and so much more!

I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate your tutorial videos...a lot! I am waiting for an order for a little wallet (the name escapes me) and I am obsessed with this Marji bag, for travel. I just ordered the pattern and for the sake of my sanity and finances, I am going to start with a canvas fabric that has been waiting to be used. great video. FYI! wouldn't it be wonderful if someone would make a cutter/stamp that was to cut the corners on the zip box. Leather cutters might have a comparable size not sure. It would be great to be able to get a really consistent square.

I don’t usually quilt my bags so I’m not 100% sure. I think with the zippered pockets it might get a little bulky. Just my opinion!
That second bag you showed with the different strap attachment...is that cork? Love that pattern/color
They’re all cork except for the canvas version I made in the video.

This is such a gorgeous bag! May I ask, what the 1/4” fusible tape you use on the recessed zipper panels is called? I’m looking for something like that!

Question why is the overlay zipper pocket not lined on the front, is there a way to line it. Also the recessed zipper lays on the divider pocket inside anyway to prevent this i have made 2 of these and i love them just wish i could fix the 2 issues.
@@colleenwhite7273 I wouldn’t call these issues since it’s the way that I designed the pattern. The pocket is not fully lined because it helps to reduce bulk plus cork does not require a lining. You could always add a standard zippered pocket if you prefer. If you want to make your divider a little bit shorter you can do so but again this is how I liked it for this particular pattern.

Why is piece B one inch narrower than piece A? They don’t match up and don’t finish at the same size!
Because piece A has a zipper added to it and needs to be trimmed afterwards to be the same size as B. It’s all written in Step 4 of the pattern.
Do you realize that it costs $50 for shipping just the zipper template to Canada? We're right next door.
I do know where Canada is but unfortunately I have no control over international shipping prices.
