The Rothwell estate has provided some of the finest shooting we've ever captured on camera - and we headed there again at the end of the 2017/18 game season. With the wind up and the pheasants strong on the wing, we're looking forward to some high, screaming-fast birds. And we've invited a team of German guns over for the occasion - it's safe to say they've never seen anything like it...

Not sure how this qualifies as hunting, standing in one place and having birds released or driven over you? I stood in a deer stand for hours in -10 temps, now that was hunting!

They better be lower, since he is using 2 1/2" shells. I get a better shot string out of my 85 year old Fox Sterlingworth 16 bore for what he is shooting!

Yes looked well organized. But to tell the
truth, after 50 years of game shooting this gets boring,not to mention the fowl practice of breed to shoot.( This really has to stop) If you want to shoot good wild birds go to the fens, that's if you can hit them????? In Germany it is against the law to rear game to shoot. The reason why Germans shoot game with an over and under is ,that most of the game is flying away.
Also their is a lot more walking involved that's the reason for the sling on the guns
