Spectacular shoot indeed, Dave. Fabulous volume of birds, and as you mentioned every presentation that one could want. Not too many of them got by whatever was in those "Test Loads" you were shooting! Great to see you showcasing and encouraging the kids as you do and giving them a good role model to look up to. Glad that they were shooting too as they are the future of our sport. It looked like a super day in shirt-sleeve weather at a beautiful venue. What a great film Dave, I really enjoyed watching this one. You shot very well, I just love to see you waiting for the higher birds above the others and then picking one and taking it with a clean kill. Nice to see you talking to others who are all part of the day, great to see the youngsters aswell. I have my first day next Saturday, I can't wait. I love your shooting I’m a young shooter myself
I’m in the western US and I dream of one day having the opportunity to do a driven bird shoot at one of your fantastic estates. Don’t know if I’ll ever be able to afford it but a man can dream. Throw in some salmon fishing in Scotland and I’d die happy.
What I love about watching you shoot is you always seem to be fussy, only taking the good sporting birds that present a challenge instead of shooting to kill. It would be nice to see more of this on formal days.

I think you have got to shoot the birds you enjoy or are comfortable with- it’s not everyone’s cup of tea just picking the high ones out👌

Hi Dave, fair play you are a fantastic shot. I noticed that you are not using your usual miroku as in most of your videos but instead a Browning Crown if I'm not mistaken. Why is this then?
i do get given guns by Browning to appraise and the crown became a favorite of mine alongside the mirokus 👍

Sorry, but I really think that this paints shooting in a bad light. Double gunning Sept partridge just means that there have been too many put down. At least this time, you just went for a loader, which in itself is just there to increase your bag. It's really way past time that these big bags are consigned to history. Frankly, there's no need to double gun anything, even grouse.
