- The original McDonald's used to be at this location in San Bernardino, and even though the building is not there anymore, you can still visit the museum that sits in its place. This museum has tons of pieces of McDonald's history and it is a fun place to explore. Also, this video also shows the oldest operating McDonald's which is in Downey as well.

Shoutout to anyone that saw the movie The Founder!🍔
You beat me to the punch haha
Ok
Thanks
Me
I worked in a McDonald's in England for three years and loved it. I
trained to become a floor manager but decided to go off to college
instead and didn't stay long enough to take the exam. Part of the exam
prep was the history of McDonald's. I later moved to Redlands, CA in
1992. I remember visiting the site of the original McDonald's and it was
emotional. I didn't know the full history before watching the film, but
I knew enough to know that I was at the place where McDonald's was
born. I loved this video, thank you for sharing.
I went there today! Greetings from El Paso, TX!
I grew up a few houses down the street from this museum! Brings back memories.
I uses to work not that far from it
That building is a clue miles away from me and never have gone in. Maybe I'll check it out now
Shoutout to you for making cool videos of California 👍
All the McDonalds, over 90 locations, here in hawaii still sell fried apple pies as well. They sold baked apple pies for a few years in the late 90s, but went back to the fried apple pies due to popular demand.
Went to the high school up the road. Crazy stuff. Area was rough when i was there in '04. Even worse now. Sad.
i still live in san bernardino
@Умом Россию не понять i heard about that from my friend when it happened, he said it was his friend that died
I still have every original toy from the 80s and early 90s, great nostalgia
Well I live in san Berdino and I have been there
Great video! I will be sure to visit that museum, as well as the Downey location, since they still sell the fried pies! Criminal that you can’t get a fried apple or cherry pie at all of the McDonald’s anymore!
Ohh I didn't know theu sell fried apple pies, I literally live 10 mins from mc d in Downey.
I recently visited this a few weeks ago, my kids loved it.
This is a great museum 😀 i like how they have all of the mcdonald's toys and memorabilia in this museum 🙂 i got to go check out this museum 🙂👍 it looks cool 😎👍.
I remember going to a McDonald's with my dad as kid in SoCal. Wasn't there a McDonald's that was in a old train somewhere around there? That was a cool one to check out.
Wow. This was a unique treat. Watching this 1245 in the afternoon. Now I’m craving a Big Mac 🍔 🤔.
McDonald and Walmart are the best two stops on my road trip every time.
So you are a Trump supporter! Nice. Samsies.
I've been there! Wonderful, crazy place :)
Thanks for the video ended up going to that location today.. so close to home never knew it was their.. thanks
Great video. Now I have to go there.
those fried apple pies are the best!!! the ones at all the other McDs are disappointing to say the least! another great vid!!
We used to eat at the one in San Bernardino back when I was pup in the '60's, think it was the first time I ate 2. Hamburgers mom made were always too dry. That movie is a good one, interesting to know about how the restaurant got started and how successful it was too.
Me too..
Love the video, movie recommendation, but most importantly how I can get a fryed Apple Pie!!!
As always GREAT!!
15c, oh great! I'd like 20 of these burgers, Miss🍴😊
Thanks Josh! You could be the next Huell Howser! Rox

Nice videos California museum McDonald's... 👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👍👍
Wow cool...
you are super close to Knott’s.
Let us know when you go.
We would love to show you some secrets and hidden history.
I don’t eat at McDonald’s, but this seems like an interesting place to visit.
I use to and my body still has the negative effects .
I ate at this one many times as a kid in the 60"s.
We were in the Philippines when the Beanie Baby of the Chinese New Year came out. We wanted to buy the whole set with the box for our kids. We paid for it and they said to give them a minute while we eat to put them together. We didn't know but they actually sent employees to 3 different McDonalds to assemble the whole collection.
I was here three days ago lol !
You should do a video on the “Bridge to Nowhere” in Azusa. Have you ever been there?
Dope...
thanks
Cool
Damn I am 10 mins from Downey Mc Donalds and I had no clue about fried apple pies and I pass by there every now and then.
Nice video! For anyone planning to visit this just please do not get lost in San Bernardino. You will feel like you're in an episode of the walking dead.
Honestly 😂 no offense to anyone living there but it was such an eerie city. Felt almost abandoned. 90% of the people I saw outside were either under the influence of drugs or mentally unwell. And that's coming from an Angeleno.
aye bro do one for barstow
2:55
They dont fry all the apple pies in America? How is it done?
after watching the founder i search about the old restaurant and museum nd i found this video.
No dislike 😍😍😍
I honestly always thought this building was abandoned
I'm eating McDonald's right now 😋
In Hungary every mc has fried apple pie.
Came from watching the founder !
The Hardee's apple turnover taste just like I remember the old McDonald's fried apple pies tasting.
I wished they kept it like it was
Yeah. So do I. Too bad the original building was demolished in 1972.
I live in cali and I’ve never been here
2:15 you can see jasper T jowls in the top right corner
I uses to work not far from it
These type of videos should be little bit longer. Like this one instead of 4 minutes it should have been at least 8-9 minutes.
You are a sick mentality person. Get a life.
Ronald McDonald pretty much creeps me out 😂
Clowns in general creep me out.
Love the design of the old McDonalds - brings back childhood memories.
0:27 I went there they said a little girl got stuck in the burger once
That explains why the food went downhill because Maurice and Richard(Dick) McDonald focused on quality while efficient though still maintaining that consumable natural quality food. When Ray Kroc took over the business officially in 1961, McDonalds Lost their true founders authenticity quality food to make sure it is not giving unsafe chemicals for they cared more about a successful business with earning the success not stealing others ideas then take the easy way out to make profit. Which honestly I think they were more focused on making sure the quality of the food and drinks is just as good as the quantity and efficiency. Making sure they don’t feed their customers garbage or chemicals. I really want to try the original mcdonalds bros fries recipe 😩
I live 1 minute away from there
Lucky
Should've had the first hamburger ever cooked from 1954 on display
Estosy aqui por el Bhert-Ho
Sam Murineeno = SAN BERNARDINO
I’m surprised those 2 brothers never put a contract out on Roy Cronck or whatever that thief’s name was.
Read Ray's book , the brothers were total jerks . They also walked away , with what today would be considered millions .
Unfortunately, Mac died early. Dick McDonald lived till he was 89. I saw a documentary about Dick McDonald and they showed his house. It wasn't no poor house.
I am so glad 😀 you go to these places so I don’t.
My first name is Mcdonald...
This is not the original McDonald’s
Not the original
