Yes, I think it's so important to teach young people to throw themselves out there and that they are so much more than anything they do - so if things don't work out the way they wanted, that doesn't mean that they're not "good" in any way, it just means that they can learn from what they did and keep trying. As a man turning 54 at the end of Oct. I have come to realize that it is NEVER to LATE to make a positive change in our lives. I just found Dr. Conte on RUclips in my weakest/strongest time in my life when I was struggling with anger,PTSD and relationships only because of my mindset being "I can't change, I don't know how" that thinking cost me a lot in friendships relationships both business and personal. Finally I realized that I CAN CHANGE and yes at that moment I didn't I was going to do it but was determined to become a better friend, business partner and and be more compassionate with my significant other. And then with that determination I found a swollowed my pride and asked for help, found Dr. Conte and got a therapist and am currently practicing being a better person. Practice,Practice and more practice and putting the tools into action has completely changed my life. I believe we can change if we want to and are will to work every day toward that change we can do anything!

I then decided to leave it there went to work for some one pouring my energy into someone else's business. And today you told me to, JUST DO IT!!! WHATEVER PEOPLE SAY..... FOR THEY WILL ALWAYS SAY. Love the story of the donkey. Indeed successful people will not criticize you as they undestood already what it takes to succeed. Although i am mid age now, just looking back i only regret what i did not do. Hope there is still time to do all that i want to do. Because it would be sad to be at end life, full of regrets and wishing to have done all those things we wanted to do.... Time never comes back!!!

I treat them like a family,I trust them but they hurt me, that gives me a very traumatic experience,that was a long time ago. That was in the past but it still lingers in my heart that's why I can't open up to anyone, there's always a reservation, thanks to your video, it helps a lot to come out of our shell

@@DrChristianConte I got in to trouble at a home owners association I push the President of. HOA so a an hit him with a chair after he turn down my bid after the bord approved it I was so mad l lost control I been watching you on utube and some of that contains to me I see a anger management therapist
When you read a poem... please slow down :) :) :) just kidding... I think it would be great to see a video on HOW to criticize effectively... eg. use positivity, euphemism, etc. in order to satisfy the purpose of the criticism, yet make the criticisee like you even more =))
I learn so much from you. But don't like the story of the donkey. I seen a video in Iran where 2 boys shoved a donkey over a cliff and the donkey was not able to move but you could hear it's pain. Other than killing a donkey. Your stuff is very educational.
