May I make a suggestion, turn your furniture upside-down, this way you will not have all that water sitting in the furniture. Much easier to clean. Love the videos.

What a pleasant surprise! 😁 I say cut the burning bush back/down some. It'll still show/grow beautiful for the Fall. It's not embarrassing how your patio/deck area looked. I think you should just trim the bushes, since they they turn red in fall they're probably beautiful, the bush behind the fireplace, Gerald you did a great job of trimming it way back. Don't burn the chair. Put it on the curb as your wife suggested. One man's trash is another man's treasure! I built my garden from what others called trash. Then they got mad when they saw what I did with their stuff. 😂😂😂
Relocate the bushes to a different location so they can be highlighted in their own space.
Also, check to see if the fireplace gets hot on the exterior because it will burn the plants sitting close to it.
Powerwash the deck and stain it until you can replace it.

Love it! To be safe, set the fireplace on fireproof material. One hot ember will set the entire deck on fire.

Beautiful set-up as always 😊. You can upcycle the blue cushions with the white bench and use them in the main garden area as a tea/break area, maybe surrounded with flowers? 😊 Oh also, personally, I don't think y'all need to share your marital bedroom make-over with us. That's a VERY private and intimate part of your home and I think it's reasonable if you decided to keep that part of the renovation offline. The same logic should apply to childrens room/nursery. Just a suggestion.

Hi, the patio refresh looks terrific! You may want to at most trim down your burning bushes a little so that you can still see the lake. Later on, a couple of coats of a nice colored transparent stain will also really revive and extend the life of your patio. I recommend a transparent colored stain so that you will not have to deal with the paint chipping from harsh weather in the future. The rugs and especially that fireplace beautifully compliments your house and your original furniture! Those swivel chairs are perfect for the fireplace area because they can be turned towards company when necessary. Great job and thanks for showing us the results 😁

You all did a Great Job transforming the space. Some inexpensive quick fixes that could even elevate your space even more on a budget, is to just pressure wash and stain the patio, and put a modern light fixture by patio door and voila :) Beautiful couple and beautiful acres. God bless you both.

I was surprised you didn’t power wash the entire deck before placing rugs/furniture back. There also maybe a stain or sealant that can give you some of the original color back like under the rug until you can replace it.love the fireplace and layout!

Suggestions about the burning bushel replant it somewhere else 😊. The bedroom is also a good place to see that priceless view when you wake up and relaxing.
Trim down both burning bushes, so the one doesn'obstructct your view. Trim down the bush by the new fireplace, refurbish the white two seater, and place it in front of the fireplace with a nice table between them.

Your page was suggested to me and I’m happy to be a new subscriber! 😁 I love the patio space, but I would suggest cutting both bushes down and moving them to another part of the land because it blocks the overall view of the land in my opinion. Also I would recommend painting the patio floor with waterproof paint that way it brings more life to the patio and matches with the house! Can’t wait to see what y’all do next! 😁

OMGOODNESS, I loved your make over!!🙌💜🙏🏾. Suggestions: transplant burning bush elsewhere the view is pricele$$. When our deck was older. We painted/waterproofing paint and was able to get a few more years while we planned and saved for a deck rebuild. All that is missing is your grill and some games. ❤❤🐯🐯

When I lived in Missouri I had patio area similar to yours. It wasn't stained so it weathered every winter. I bought that bleach like solution for cleaning wooden fences and patio, sprayed patio with that and it brought original wood color back. You can then stain it and it wouldn't weather and change color so fast.
