My wife and I are in our 50’s and did exactly what you both did… bought over 100 acres of land to build a family compound with a lake. Funny. Before kids, I wanted to live in a NYC high rise and my wife wanted the country. At age 50… now I want 10 acres in Vermont.
The vision the LORD showed you guys, is the exact vision he showed me; the place of refuge, away from others, clean food, sustainable food production etc. The LORD is amazing.

This video brought tears in my eyes I honestly believe God allowed me to see this at the perfect timing. Me and my husband are 24 and 26 living with his parents in California because the price of houses and are so high and we don’t feel peace about landing here for life.
