@Hideotic dre at 1 who do u think brought u ice cube, D.O.C, eazy e, snoop, pac, the group that said fuck the police, and THE BEST ONE OUT OF ALL OF THEM EMINEM
Can't forget Kanye, NoID, Just Blaze, The heatmakers, Megahertz, Madlib, Jay Dilla, Havoc, 4th Disciple, Evidence, alchemist, The Ummah, Roots, the dude that used to produce for Xzhibit and the alcoholiks, Shock G, and the producers for Suave house and Rapalot, Mike Dean, Dungeon Family, Bink!, Nottz, Swizz Beats, 9th Wonder, and Pete Rock.
Your list is on point. My adds: Beatnuts, Large Pro, Battlecat, MadLib, Outkast (without Org No; ATliens on), DJ Pooh, Ced Gee, Diamond D, Showbiz, Buckwild, Flying Lotus, Dangermouse, Prince Paul.
Great video, I can't choose all time because I'm such a music head and I enjoy the work producers from all era's put in to make Hip Hop great. My favorites are Dj Premier, Dilla, Dre, Pete Rock, Alchemist, No ID, Just Blaze and Kanye. I could listen to their mix for the rest of my life and would never get bored.
this is like the best vlad video i've seen for comments. they all just discussing hiphop and producers at that, this is dope, not on some his face squashed or some bullshit
Timbaland is the GOAT. I used to think Dr Dre was but all his beats are 90% samples with an 808 and drum machine. Timbaland is just authentic from start to finish.
Timbaland samples more than dre does on "dre's" beats. Dre doesn't make beats he gets the best people to do it for him, he's just like dj Khaled. Sure he can make dope beats but he's a genius marketer and an orchestrator.
Q-Tip is underrated. He used to always have the knack of finding samples that fitted really well together. This meant that his beats often sounded simple, when they really weren't, e.g. the 'Check the Rhime' beat sounds like it was created using samples from 3 or 4 records, when it actually features samples from 8 different records.
My Favorites (No Order) 1. J Dilla 2. Nujabes 3. Dr. Dre 4. Pete Rock 5. Kanye West 6. DJ Premier 7. Neptune’s 8. Just Blaze 9. Irv Gotti 10. Havoc 11.Trackmasters 12. Q-Tip 13. Timberland

Word. you're clearly a true Head too. Yeah Large Pro, the Beatnuts are def ones I would add in as well and Lord Finesse. Marley Marl, Sir Jinx, Prince Paul, Ced Gee etc, def pioneers. There's just too many greats lol
Just Blaze is a G. Love his opinions on the industry and the fact he always keeps and open mind about new styles and producers. He is the opposite of a hater and that has become a rare thing in this biz and this world. Also he drops fire....thus the name. Lol
Top 5 now(in no particular order): Drumma Boy, Sonny Digital, Mike Will, Zaytoven, Young Chop. Honorable Mention: Lex Luger, Cardan, South Side, KE on the track, Jahlil Beats, DJ Mustard, the Olympiks, the incredibles, Honorable C Note.
I love how people keep leaving SCOTT STORCH off these all time list...The man PLAYS multiple instruments..not just hitting a drum machine and tweaking samples on a computer..the man has had #1 HITS in MULTIPLE genres of music at the same damn time...give SCOTT STORCH the respect he deserves..
they do utilize samples often, but the beat doesn't rely on it. Kanye samples 90% of the time and is still considered one of the greatest ever b/c it's the production work they do around and with the sample that is crazy...
Just going off the past 2-4 years i been banging instrumental tracks from Cardo Statik Slektah T-Minus Justice League Don Cannon Harry Fraud Clams Casino Black Metaphor is about to get crazy. . . dude has already dropped some insane bangers this year i'm not going to do a All Time great producer list. . it would be a long list. . lol

Large Pro, RZA, Madlib, Prince Paul, Premier, Dilla, Q-Tip, Pete Rock, dr Dre, organized noise, Lord Finesse (whole ditc crew), beatminerz, kanye, havoc
Just Blaze is one of my favorite producers. Top 12: NO ORDER: 1. DJ Premier 2. Pete Rock 3. Q-Tip 4. Dr. Dre 5. Just Blaze 6. Timbaland 6. P. Williams 7. WIll.I.Am 8. RZA 9. Evrin EP Pope 10. Kanye 11. NO. I.D. 12. S1
I think the thing about Lex Luger is he came and changed the game and then feel back. Once he dropped that "BMF" it was a wrap. Now everybody got one of those kinds of beats. He may not be on the charts like a Mike Will right now but his influence is all over popular rap and even r and b. Look at TM-88, Yung Chop, Mike Will, Southside, or any "Trap" sounding/influenced producer. Lex made that lane. Period.
TOP 20 In no order! DJ Premier, Dr Dre, Marley Marl,The Bomb Squad, Pete Rock, Rza, Eric Sermon,Timbaland, Just Blaze, Kanye, Alchemist, TrackMasters, Teddy Riley, Dilla, Large Professor, Havoc, Q-Tip, Nottz, 9TH Wonder, DJ Muggs!! JUSTICE LEAGUE is the future tho been on them since Mary J Blige breakthrough LP.
aint heard their recent work but there for awhile they was killin it with rick ross' beats and other random artist. they should do a album featuring random artisit over their work
Ali Shaheed Muhammed, Madlib, Rza, Primo he named of course. Large Professor was his name when he was in A rap group, but Extra P was his Producer name. Every rapper from Queens knows that.
Ay T-Minus makes some fuckin bangers man. Canada got some dope ass producers. What I like about Mike Will the most is how he gets creative. His bass and the effects he'll use. Mike Will a get tricky with the beat.
And of today I'd say EOM, Evil Needles,Clam Casino, Erick Arc Elliott, Knxwledge,Freddie Joachim, Apollo Brown, Flying Lotus, Spaceghostpurrp, XXYYXX (even though he's a more than a hip hop producer)
Top 5 of all time(In no particular order): Rza, DJ Premier, Dr. Dre, Dat Nigga Daz, and The Legendary Traxter. I woulda said Timbaland, but Timbaland has produced more RnB joints than hiphop joints. Honorable mention goes to: DJ Quik, Muggs, True Master, LES, Nashiem Myrick, Salaam Remi, Trackmasters, Large Professor, the whole DITG, Neptunes, Teddy Riley, Marley Marl, BDP productions, Hank Shocklee and his brother(those the dudes that produced for PE), Beats by the pound, and MC Eiht.
I mentioned erick sermon in my previous comment. That man made some classic joints for real. Aside from the shit with pmd & def squad, he has a very nice catalog of hits hes produced for various artists.
Even T-Minus and Hit Boy. I mean they have their own styles and are incredible in their own right. Toronto has been known for percussion but like I said Lex Lugar brought this lane to the game.

def dilla all time, but others like madlib premier large professor no id pete rock are in the all time list. As far as original nujabes shoud defiinitely be in the discussion.
1) DJ Quik, 2) Dr. Dre, 3) Davonte Swing. I mean.. To not have Dre in your top 3 all-time is very ridiculous. I know we're currently in this stage of modern day hipsters, but be real with yourself.
Don't really follow the game like I used to but NOW, it's Khrysis, 9th, Ayatollah, Vinny Idol, Emile, Jimi Kendrix, Street Radio, Arab Muzik, Tone Mason to name a few.
Thank God he said RZA. He's a legend but i don't feel like he gets enough recognition for his production.
+rap game bob barker Rza is okay.. he's not the goat of production b.. there are quite a few that are better, just like there are billions who aren't as good.
+Robert Passerelle I never said he was the GOAT. Stop twisting my words. Keep it moving.
rap game bob barker rza vs jazzy Jeff?
Robert Passerelle Lets be real RZA would’ve been one of the top producers if his equipment didn’t get caught in the flood
