God Lemmy was fucking entertaining. Even without a bass and a microphone he's amazing. His interviews were always first rate. Abrasive and gregarious in equal measure.
He never went LA in his attitude. Maintaining the English wag act to the end...he'd have been the same in a powdered wig playing a harpsichord back in the days. Solid as the rock of Gibraltar... he wouldn't have had to draw his beuty spot on iether..ha
That is prob my fave one. Robbo put his bluesy licks on that album and made it really interesting. The title track, "back at the funny farm", "one track mind", and "shine" are fucking brilliant

Mikkey left King Diamond because he felt that well when you’re in the band named after the lead singer and he does all the press and gets all the credit purposely it’s kind of like “hey I thought we were a band?” So I always thought it’s cool to see that while he was with Motörhead Lemmy made it a point to always have him by his side and get his opinions in and everything. It’s something like that that shows that Lemmy being a God still was so humble to go this is my friend and he’s gonna be by my side because he’s part of what makes this band what it is
