Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch Flying Type Pokémon (Species Clause); This includes Pokémon that evolve INTO Flying types, but does NOT include non-Flying Pokémon that evolved from Flying types!
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)

You should run a community poll to see who the MVP of every locke was and have a MVPlocke at the end of the year of all the MVPs of the year in like Scarletn Violet or smth. Like a season’s All-Stars

Duck's performance was the best I've ever seen from a Butterfree. It's so lovely to see. The Sleep Powder accuracy was impeccable.
No recorded misses too
Ill never forget how dirty the ghost type got done in pre gen 4. Physical shadow ball dropping spdf is just just so low.
Same with dark being special like all the dark moves in gen 3 are moves that are either status moves or would be categorized as physical
It is really good on flareon though
Gengar and banette are both cool as hell tho
Same for crunch dropping defense when dark types are special
@@yoel9396 Looking at the move dexes, it switched to def in gen 4, was sdef in 2 and 3.
I’ve been watching these since the first Platinum Water types only challenge, and I have to say, this is basically the only channel I watch now for nuzlockes, your quality is unmatched and I love hearing your creative strategies and small story side plots! Much love!

@@morganmatthews2222 Silph is good but he gets bogged down in "play-by-play" description of his battles and his videos end up 40 minutes long when they really don't need to be. "Monferno uses Flame Wheel, which only does 30%, then Skuntank uses Night Slash, which we survive, BUT it gets the crit!!! BUT with another Flame Wheel..." if you watch his videos you know what I mean. Again I do enjoy his stuff but it's harder to binge watch than FlygonHG imo
Ye, love flygon, him and pokemon challenges are the main 2 I watch, at first I didn't like yan but he grew on me 🤷🏼♂️😅 his knowledge and tips are useful
The Bird Fact bit is easily one of the funniest gags. IMO it's up there with Moonblast and Rat Power

Hearing Surge be described as 'a deeply unwell man' made me break out in mad giggles at several moments during the video. I also loved 'the world's saddest Double Edge'.
The way he went from four to Squarespace in a super crazy convoluted way instead of just going: "4 is the amount of corners in a square. Hey, Squarespace!"

I was thinking the nickname theme would be "Wings" since not everything is a bird. Chicken wing, hospital wing, airplane wing, east wing, etc. But i forgot that all the Flying types actually ARE birds.
"With 5 different birds on the team, six if you're going by headcount" was such a clever line and so expertly delivered - I appreciated this joke so much!

2:43 Unironically, there was an attempt to use pigeons to create a homing bomb. By training the pigeons to peck on where the ship was (when projected on a screen to the pigeons), the bomb would be guided to the target. However, since the pigeons would be on the bomb itself, it does mean the pigeons would be lost in the process, but small price to pay for the sinking of a battleship, I suppose

Like a bison is not a bird. Butterfree is not a bird. Charizard is not a bird. The bird facts are too distracting and pointless. The narration is even more cringe than before. He treath really his viewers like we're just brainless and lack of intelligence. This video insult my knowledge so much and that bothered me.

I love birds and I love flying types, so I enjoyed this vid! My love for birds inspired me to do a flying only challenge of Volt White, and I had an insane amount of fun! Made easier fights like Elesa and Brycen a lot harder. I know you have a lot on your plate, but you should definitely consider doing that, I think you’re good enough to beat it!

Loved the Larry "Bird" snuck into the region map in the beginning. Maybe a new theme could be the alphabet. 26 nuzlockes for 26 letters and you can change the games depending on the letter and number of encounters. Looking forward to more great videos

Flying is my favorite type, so I am super excited about this one. I used to terro--- battle children in XY online battles with just flying types - pride of the flock was my bananasaurus who stalled everything out. Good times. Woodpecker also reminded me of how I used to always favor Fearow over Pidgeot in Gen I and II... Thanks for bringing back those memories! Bird fact 4 BTW, reminded me about that insane plan where a scientist wanted to win a war by planting mini bombs in bats and make them hide in enemy territory... anyway loved the editing as always. And as a German growing up on Forever Young, that little shout out was funny.
