If it aint a 2 door the it aint a MINI! Although even these newer models just keep getting bigger and bigger it seems and they're slowly draining the charm and fun out of them.

And if it has 4 doors it ain't a Porsche. If it has 4 doors it can't be a Lamborghini. What else you want? Well, car brands are allowed to evolve and experiment because the world is always changing. Creating a more practical car actually says these car brands are listening to their customers and giving them an option. Furthermore, it is not like they are stopping production of their iconic 2 door car. I am all for their experimenting if it means a car brand can continue on and not die out.
I'd argue that the 5 door Cooper is still a Mini... And still an absolute blast to drive. Anything larger than that, and it seems kinda counterintuitive to the Mini brand.
I disagree. To me the only downside of owning a mini is how small it is. Its a fun car but only for the two front seats. I wish they keep making it bigger so it becomes a comfortable fun car for everyone.
