So my sister in law and her 18 kids (really) live in La Vernia, TX, what you might call suburban Seguin since Seguin is about 10 miles away. And yes when her daughter was married in town, the wedding party went back to the ranch and they served brisket. No hot dogs, though.

Bruce & Kelly will be in Austin at the Moody Theater (ACL-Live) for a show w/ the Dixie Chicks, the Court Yard Hounds, Natalie Maines, Lloyd Maines, Terri Hendrix, et al. My wife and I are flying down from Michigan for the show. My kids will be staying w/ Grandma in New Braunfels (where I'm from)
Don't get me wrong, I love Natalie Mains's voice and she sounds great on this, but why isn't Kelly the one singing on the record? Perhaps Natalie was more readily available what with Charlie being married to Emily at the time, but Kelly Willis's voice was made for this song!
