Cokie, We need you to point out not only "don't do this" but also show at each step what the correct arm/elbow/hand placement is. "This is wrong, but this is right" would be helpful. A few seconds at the end showing correct breast stroke arms isn't enough. I'm having trouble seeing what he's doing correctly and how. Thanks!
@@Falquiboy "What is right is the opposite of what is shown." -- No, there are MANY alternatives to what is shown, not just one. So your dismissive answer is wrong.
I wasn't positioning my legs correctly (or keeping the right timing) just after re-entering water and sure enough they were sinking in no time. I managed to somewhat correct that and I saw instant improvement in keeping horizontal position. It's amazing when you finally *feel* you're doing something better than before. Now I know your tip about not dropping your elbows when turning corner from out sweep to in sweep is going to further help me. Great tips altogether. It would be amazing if, in the future, you could include slow motion for correct moves.
Paula R seems im suffering from the same it seems i go too deep when i do the kick and coming up from the water becomes a big problem this is the most relaxing stroke and i feel exhausted after few times of going in coming out of the water!
Thank you for very practical advice, I frequently make these common mistakes & resulting in poor form. Please also do mistakes on leg kicks in Breaststrokes, cheers.
To correct, would exaggerating the sculling of the hands, keeping quick, short, narrow....gliding with hands extended, help assure not dropping elbows, pull not going too wide-- hands not outward beyond shoulders, and final squeeze forces hands up and forward in front of face?
This example is a bit too passive. You gotta slam your hips forward as you shoot your arms out to set up your kick and to add momentum to your propulsion. Also, he needs to catch more water with his hands, but this is an all around good starters guide to the stroke. Good job!

@@mountainhobo No its not. The opposite is right and it means: dont do this - and its right. All alternatives are.
